Schakel altijd de functie Stop
and Start uit voordat u werk-
zaamheden in de motorruimte
uitvoert.



Onder bepaalde omstandigheden kan het
systeem de motor niet op stand-by zetten.
Dit is het geval als:
– de achteruitversnelling is ingeschakeld;
– de motorkap niet is vergrendeld;
– het bestuurdersportier niet is gesloten;
– de autogordel van de bestuurder niet is
vastgemaakt;
– de buitentemperatuur te laag of te hoog
is (lager dan circa 0 °C of hoger dan circa
30 °C);
– de accu onvoldoende geladen is;
– het verschil tussen de temperatuur in de
auto en de ingestelde temperatuur van
de thermostatische airconditioning te
groot is;
– de functie “helder zicht” is ingeschakeld
(raadpleeg de paragraaf “thermostati-
sche airconditioning” in hoofdstuk 3);
– de temperatuur van de koelvloeistof te
laag is;
– het roetfilter automatisch wordt gereinigd;

– ...
De boodschap “Autom Stop Niet beschik-
baar” verschijnt op het instrumentenpaneel
om u te waarschuwen dat de motor niet op
stand-by kan worden gezet.
Voordat brandstof wordt getankt, moet
de motor worden afgezet (en niet op
stand-by worden gezet): u moet de
motor afzetten door de stopknop van de
motor in te drukken (raadpleeg de para-
graaf “Starten, stoppen van de motor”).

– Als de bestuurder, terwijl het systeem in
werking is en de motor is afgezet (ver-
keersopstopping, stilstaan voor een
stoplicht enz.), uit zijn stoel komt of zijn
gordel losmaakt en het bestuurderspor-
tier opent, wordt het contact verbroken
en wordt, afhankelijk van de auto, de
automatische parkeerrem automatisch
vastgezet. Om weer weg te rijden en het
systeem Stop and Start weer in te scha-
kelen, drukt u op de startknop (raadpleeg
de paragraaf “Starten, stoppen van de
motor").
– Wanneer de motor afslaat terwijl het sys-
teem in werking is, trapt u het koppe-
lingspedaal volledig in om de motor weer
te starten.
