³ Controleer de staat van de airbag
voordat u een passagier laat plaatsnemen of
een kinderzitje installeert.
KINDERVEILIGHEID: installatie van het kinderzitje (3/4)
Kinderzitje bevestigd met behulp van de
gordel
¬ Plaats toegelaten voor de bevesti-
ging met de gordel van een als “Universeel”
goedgekeurd zitje;
− Plaats toegelaten voor de beves-
tiging met de gordel van uitsluitend een
achterstevoren geplaatst kinderzitje dat
goedgekeurd is als “Universeel”.
Door het gebruik van een niet bij de auto passend kinderveiligheidssysteem wordt
de baby of het kind niet correct beschermd. Het kan ernstig of zelfs dodelijk letsel
oplopen.
LEVENSGEVAAR OF
GEVAAR VAN ERNSTIG
LETSEL: controleer voordat
u een kinderzitje op de plaats
van de passagier voorin installeert, of de
airbag wel is uitgeschakeld (raadpleeg
de paragraaf “Kinderveiligheid: uitscha-
kelen, inschakelen van de passagier-
sairbagairbag voorin” in hoofdstuk 1).
Overzicht van de installatie
Kinderzitje bevestigd met behulp van de
ISOFIX-bevestiging
ü Plaats waar een ISOFIX-kinderzitje is
toegelaten.
± De zitplaatsen ISOFIX zijn voorzien
van een verankering voor de bevestiging
van een universeel vooruit geplaatst kinder-
zitje ISOFIX. De verankeringen
bevin-
den zich voor de stoelen achterin in de ba-
gageruimte en voor de stoelen voorin op de
rugleuning van de stoel.
De grootte van een ISOFIX-kinderzitje wordt
aangegeven door een letter:
– A, B en B1: voor zitjes vooruit van groep 1
(van 9 tot 18 kg);
– C en D: kuipzitjes of zitjes achterstevoren
van groep 0+ (onder 13 kg) of van groep
1 (van 9 tot 18 kg);
– E: kuipzitjes achterstevoren van groep 0
(onder 10 kg) of 0+ (onder 13 kg);
– F en G: reiswiegen van groep 0 (onder
10 kg).
