CLOSING PROTECTION

When the ignition of the vehicle is switched on, the antenna automatically moves into

the closed state. The antenna can only be activated again when the vehicle ignition is

no longer activated. The blue wire must be connected to the ignition switch system to

activate this safety function.

Note:

Nevertheless, always make sure that the antenna is closed

before driving off.

ASSEMBLY / INSTALLATION PREPARATION

 Make sure that there are no physical obstacles at the installation site that

could impair the movement of the satellite system.

 Ask your vehicle manufacturer or specialist dealer whether the location is

suitable for the installation of the satellite system.

 Make sure that the mounting surface is level.

 When choosing the installation location, take the cable routing into the

interior of the vehicle.

 Before installing the antenna, make sure that you have all the materials you

need.

 Avoid or compensate for uneven mounting surfaces.
