EXTINGUISHING
To extinguish the unit – stop adding fuel and allow the fire in the Firebowl to die or douse with sand.
DO NOT use water as this could damage or crack the Firebowl.
WARNINGS - CAUTION!
This product is intended FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY.
NEVER leave a burning fire unattended.
DO NOT overload the unit with fuel.
NEVER burn the fuel on the base of the Firebowl. Always use a minimum of 8cm of sand in the base.
FIRE HAZARD – Hot embers may emit while in use.
DO NOT use petrol, white spirit, lighter fluid, alcohol or other similar chemicals to light a fire as the rapid
increase in temperature could damage the Firebowl.
This product is ONLY suitable for use with untreated wood and logs or Heat Logs. DO NOT use charcoal.
DO NOT use this Firebowl on decking or any other flammable surfaces such as dry grass, wood chips, leaves or
decorative bark.
DO NOT use this Firebowl as a furnace.
This Firebowl is not suitable for cooking food.
Ensure that the Firebowl is positioned away from flammable items.
DO NOT handle or move the Firebowl whilst alight as it will become hot.
Keep children and pets at a safe distance from the Firebowl when in use. Do not leave unattended when hot.
Always inspect the Firebowl for fatigue and damage prior to use. Replace as and when necessary.
STORAGE
When not in use cover the top of the Firebowl to prevent rainwater from entering.
If using an Redfire outdoor cover, only position once the fire has died and unit has completely cooled.
Retreat regularly with a protective seal and after each season before reusing.
The general lifespan of the Firebowl may be affected by continued repositioning.
N.B. Due to the traditional handmade process, this item will have individual characteristics in the form of
distinguishing marks and coloring and have slight variations in size and weight. Discoloration of the paint
finish will occur after use. This is normal and to be expected.
