Safety instructions

Einstellen des Sitzes
Stellen Sie den Sitz vor jeder Fahrt auf die Größe des darin sitzenden Kindes
ein. Nur dann erfüllt der Kindersitz seine optimale Schutzfunktion.
Stellen Sie nach jedem Einstellen sicher, dass die verstellten Teile richtig
eingerastet sind.
Stellen Sie den Kindersitz nur bei stehendem Fahrzeug ein, und überprüfen
Sie danach den korrekten Gurtverlauf.
Nehmen Sie keine technischen Änderungen am Kindersitz vor und bedienen
Sie ihn nur gemäß dieser Anleitung, da sonst die Schutzfunktion des Sitzes
vermindert oder ganz aufgehoben wird.

Einbauen des Sitzes
Wir weisen darauf hin, dass bei Benutzung von Kinderautositzen Beschädi-
gungen der Fahrzeugsitze nicht auszuschließen sind. Die Sicherheitsrichtlinie
ECE R44 fordert eine feste Montage. Bitte treffen Sie für die Sitze Ihres Fahrzeugs
geeignete Schutzmaßnahmen (z.B. Autositzunterlage). Die Firma RECARO
GmbH & Co. KG oder deren Händler haften nicht für mögliche Schäden an
den Fahrzeugsitzen
Verwenden Sie den Kindersitz nur auf den Rücksitzen, damit das Kind durch
den Beifahrer-Airbag nicht gefährdet werden kann. Wir empfehlen den Platz
hinter dem Beifahrer.
Bauen Sie den Kindersitz immer so ein, dass das Kind in Fahrtrichtung schaut.
Schützen Sie den Sitz vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung, da sich die Metallteile
aufheizen können.
Bauen Sie den Kindersitz so ein, dass starre Teile und Kunststoffteile am Sitz
bei normalem Gebrauch des Fahrzeugs nicht unter einem beweglichen Sitz
oder in der Fahrzeugtür eingeklemmt werden.

Adjusting the seat
Before setting off on a journey, adjust the seat to suit the size of the child
sitting in it to ensure that optimal protection is provided.
Each time the seat is adjusted, ensure that the parts that have been adjusted
are properly locked in place.
Only adjust the child seat with the vehicle stationary and subsequently check
for correct belt routing.
Never make any changes to the child seat and only use it as described in
these instructions in order not to reduce or impair the level of protection
provided by the seat.

Installing the seat
It should be noted that the use of child car seats may damage car seats.
The safety standard ECE R44 specifies fixed installation. Please provide suitable
measures to protect your car seats (e.g. seat cover). RECARO GmbH & Co.
KG or its authorised dealers cannot accept responsibility for any damage to
car seats.
Only use the child seat on the back seat so that the child is not endangered
by the front seat passenger airbag. It is recommended to install the seat
behind the front passenger seat.
Always install the seat so that it is front-facing. Protect the seat from direct
sunlight as metal parts can become hot.
Install the child seat so that rigid components and plastic parts on the seat
cannot be trapped under a moving seat or in the vehicle door during normal
use.
