In jedem Durchgang versucht jeder Spieler, die Phase, in der
er sich gerade befi ndet, auszulegen. Gelingt ihm dies, versucht
er sich im nächsten Durchgang an der darauf folgenden Phase
usw. Schafft es ein Spieler jedoch nicht, seine aktuelle Phase
auszulegen, muss er sie im nächsten Durchgang erneut
versuchen, so lange, bis sie ihm gelingt.
So kann sich beispielsweise ein Spieler bereits in Phase 6 befi nden, während
sich ein anderer noch immer um Phase 2 bemüht.
Die 10 Phasen müssen von jedem Spieler in der genauen
Reihenfolge ausgelegt werden, wie sie auf den Übersichts karten
steht, also zunächst Phase 1, dann Phase 2 usw.
Dabei verlangen die Phasen vier verschiedene Arten von
Kartenkombinationen:
1) Sets:
Dies sind Kartenkombinationen, bei denen alle Zahlen gleich
sind. Es gibt Zwillinge (zwei gleiche Zahlen), Drillinge (drei
gleiche Zahlen), Vierlinge (vier gleiche Zahlen) und Fünfl inge
(fünf gleiche Zahlen). Die Farben der Karten sind dabei ohne
Bedeutung.
Hinweis: Werden mehrere Sets verlangt, darf hierfür mehrfach dieselbe Zahl
benutzt werden. Beispielsweise wäre es erlaubt, als Phase 1 (vier Zwillinge)
3/3, 3/3, 7/7, 7/7 auszulegen.
2) Alle von einer Farbe:
Die Phasen 2 und 5 erfordern sechs bzw. sieben Karten einer
Farbe. Die Zahlen der Karten sind dabei ohne Bedeutung.
3) Folgen:
Eine Folge besteht aus vier oder mehr Karten mit unmittelbar
aufeinander folgenden Zahlen (Achtung: es gibt dabei keine
Verbindung zwischen 12 und 1). Die Farben der Karten sind
dabei ohne Bedeutung.
Beispiel: Phase 4 verlangt eine Achterfolge, z. B. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 oder
auch 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 in beliebigen Farben.
