Un joueur peut poser – sur plusieurs tours – plus d’une carte sur un
même pli. Note : si le marqueur d’un joueur fi gure déjà à côté d’un pli,
et que ce même joueur y pose une carte de plus grande valeur, son
marqueur reste à côté de ce pli.
•
Un pli est “complet” lorsqu’une quatrième carte y est posée. Le
joueur qui y a posé la carte de plus grande valeur et de la couleur
d’ouverture défausse les 4 cartes et récupère le marqueur.
•
Le joueur remportant le pli retourne immédiatement face visible la
carte Points de Victoire de gauche de sa zone de jeu : cette carte est
maintenant “activée”. Si ce même joueur remporte ultérieurement un
autre pli ce round, il retournera face cachée sa 1
ère
carte
Points de Victoire, et retournera face visible sa 2
ème
carte Points de Victoire, etc.
Important : lorsqu’un joueur remporte le 4
ème
pli d’un
round, il réactive sa 1
ère
carte Points de Victoire ; s’il
remporte le 5
ème
pli, il réactive sa 2
ème
carte Points de
Victoire, etc.
Exemple :
Le joueur Rouge pose la carte 9 bleue sur le pli de
gauche, ce qui le complète. Puisque le 9 bleu est
la carte de plus grande valeur mais n’est pas
de la couleur d’ouverture (vert), le pli est
remporté par le joueur Orange, qui défaus-
se les 4 cartes et s’empare du marqueur
orange. Il y a maintenant de la place pour
un nouveau 4
ème
pli.
Note : après avoir défaussé
un pli “complet” de 4 cartes,
le jeu reprend en sens horaire
à partir du joueur situé à la
gauche du dernier joueur à
avoir posé une carte.

If there are fewer than 5 play-

Game Set up
Each player chooses a color and receives:
•
4 markers of that color, placed in front of them;
•
9 victory points cards of the same color, also placed
in front of them.
The size of the deck depends on the number of players:
•
5 players: use all 60 cards; no cards are returned to the box.
•
4 players: use 48 cards (1-12 in each color); return the cards
numbered 13-15 to the box.
•
3 players: use 36 cards (1-9 in each color); return the cards
numbered 10-15 to the box.
•
2 players: use 24 cards (1-6 in each color); return the cards
numbered 7-15 to the box.
Game Play
The game is played over three rounds. Each round proceeds in the
following order:
1. Shuffl e the playing cards (24, 36, 48 or 60 cards, depending
on the number of players), and deal 12 to each player.
2. Each player looks at their cards and decides in which order to
place their three victory points cards in front of them.
•
For the fi rst round, each player has the three victory points cards
with one “pin” on the bottom and the numbers 1, 2 and 3;
•
For the second round, each player has the three victory points
cards with two “pins” on the bottom and the numbers 2, 4 and 6;
•
For the third round, each player has the three victory points
cards with three “pins” on the bottom and the numbers
3, 6 and 9.
