Chaque joueur aligne ses 3 cartes Points de Victoire face cachée de
gauche à droite devant lui. Lordre des cartes dépend du nombre de
plis qu’il pense faire lors de ce round (voir plus loin).
3. Tous les joueurs jouent leurs cartes en suivant les règles détaillées
dans la section “Prise de plis” (voir plus loin).
4. Après 12 tours, le round est terminé. Chaque joueur prend la carte
Points de Victoire gagnée et la place face visible à côté de lui.
Continuez avec le round suivant.
Prise de plis
Le joueur le plus âgé commence. Le jeu se déroule en
sens horaire jusqu’à la fi n du round, c.-à-d. après le
12
ème
tour. Le round est alors scoré, et le round suivant
commence. Le jeu se termine après 3 rounds.
A chaque tour, un joueur joue exactement une carte.
Le joueur peut soit la poser sur un pli déjà ouvert, soit
ouvrir un nouveau pli. Note : il ne peut y avoir plus de
4 plis ouverts simultanément.
Chaque pli forme sa propre pile, et les cartes jouées sur un pli doivent
être posées de façon à ce que la valeur de chaque carte du pli soit
visible.
Le joueur qui commence un nouveau pli place son marqueur à côté
pour le revendiquer. Tout joueur qui pose ultérieurement une carte de
plus grande valeur et de la même couleur sur ce pli, rend le marqueur
à son propriétaire et le remplace par le sien.

Attention ! Contrairement
à d’autres jeux de plis, dans
“Monster Tricks” il n’y a pas
qu’un seul pli, mais jusqu’à
quatre plis joués en même
temps, quel que soit le nombre
de joueurs.
Example:
Currently 3 of 4 tricks are open. Player Orange
started the trick on the left with the green 8, and
since each subsequent card is lower than the eight,
the orange marker remains with this trick.
Player Red started the trick above with
the green 7, and no subsequent player
has yet placed a card on this trick.
Player Gray placed a yellow 4 on the
trick that was started with a yellow 1,
and therefore replaced the prior marker with
a gray one. There is still space for a fourth trick,
which could be opened with a card of any color
In the example above, any green card can be placed on the left trick, the top trick, or the
“empty” trick on the right, but not on the “yellow” trick on the bottom. Any yellow card can
be placed on the bottom trick or the “empty” trick on the right.
If a player has a purple card in their hand, that player could use the purple card to open a
new trick in the “empty” spot, but could not place it on any of the three open tricks.
Rules for placing cards and taking tricks:
When placing a card on a trick, players must follow the color of the
rst card played on that trick. Players can only play a card of a different
color on a trick if there is no other place on the table where the
different-colored card could be played. However, a player may choose
to play a card of a different color on a trick (if allowed) even if that
player could play a correctly colored card on that or another trick.
A player may, but is not required to play on an open trick; as long as
there are fewer than four tricks in play, a player may instead choose to
open a new trick.
A player may open a new trick with a color that is already in play on
the table
(see example above, with more than one “green” trick in play).
