Voor ieder spel leg je de vier landingsborden (zonkant naar boven en mistkant naar
beneden) op ca. 30 cm afstand van elkaar op het speelveld. Vervolgens sorteer je de
reisstempels en leg je ze op de daarbij horende landingsborden Mexico, Tibet en de
Verenigde Staten van Amerika. De verschillende kleuren helpen je bij het rangschik-
ken. Iedere speler kiest een vliegtuig-fi che en legt dat op het Propwash Junction-
bord (= start- en doelbord met vlag). Houd de cockpit-draaischijf en de startbaan
klaar. Als laatste verdelen jullie de tien onweer-fi ches. Laat ze vanaf een hoogte van
ca. 20-30 cm willekeurig over het speelveld vallen.
Tip: om het gevoel van het laten wippen van de
startbaan onder de knie te krijgen, zou iedere speler
voordat het spel begint zijn vliegtuig een paar keer
moeten laten starten.
Spelverloop
De jongste piloot mag beginnen. Vervolgens gaat het spel verder met de wijzers
van de klok mee. Ben je aan de beurt, dan pak je de startbaan, legt die op een
willekeurig punt van het Propwash Junction-bord en legt je vliegtuig erop. Dan
probeer je hem met een hoge boog op een willekeurig landingsbord te wippen. Om
de landingsborden te bereiken, is het voldoende als je vliegtuig hem aanraakt.
Heb je het landingsbord niet meteen bereikt?
Geen probleem! Laat je vliegtuig daar liggen, waar hij een tussenlanding heeft
gemaakt. Ben je weer aan de beurt, dan leg je de startbaan op deze plaats en start
je opnieuw in de richting van een landingsbord.
Als alternatief kun je de landingsbanen ook in lang-
zame, maar veilige scheervlucht benaderen. Daarvoor
zet je je vliegtuig-fi che gewoon op z’n rand en draait
hem om.
Tip: dit is vooral de moeite waard, als je vliegtuig al in de buurt van een landings-
veld is.
