13.10 Controle

Controleer regelmatig het volgende:

• Is de accu opgeladen?

• Werken de remmen nog zoals het hoort? Zitten remblokjes, bouten en moeren

nog goed vast? Zijn de kabels niet beschadigd? Zijn de remoppervlakken

schoon en vetvrij? Zijn er geen remblokjes versleten?

• Staat mijn ets goed afgesteld? Staan het zadel en het stuur niet boven de

maximaal toegestane stand? Vind ik de hoek waarin het stuur staat prettig?

Is mijn stuur wel goed uitgelijnd met het voorwiel?

• Zitten mijn handgrepen nog goed vast?

• Is de spanning van mijn spaken nog voldoende? Heb ik geen slag ik mijn

wiel? Zijn er geen spaken gebroken?

• Hebben mijn banden de juiste spanning? Zit er nog voldoende proel op

mijn banden?

• Zit de stuurpen goed vast? Zit mijn zadel goed vast? Zit er geen speling in

mijn wielen?

• Werken mijn lichten? Ben ik goed zichtbaar in het donker? Zijn de

oppervlakken van de reectoren goed schoon? Zijn de reecterende strippen

op mijn banden aanwezig en zo ja, zijn ze schoon?

• Werkt de trapbekrachtiging naar behoren?

• Werken de versnellingen zoals ze behoren te werken?

• Is de kettingspanning juist?

• Is mijn ets niet toe aan een schoonmaakbeurt?

• Heb ik mijn ets recent een servicebeurt gegeven?
