1.2 MEANING OF EACH PART IN THE BOX

1. Seng buon: To enter the menu opons and acvate the download mode
2. Save buon:
i. Allows the user to manually add new locaons where from now on warnings will be given in driving
mode.
ii. Allows the user to manually delete locaons.
iii. The user’s preference for each opon can be set in seng mode.
3. Volume – buon: To decrease the volume.
4. Volume + buon: To increase the volume.
5. Red buon:
i. To de-acvate the Radar / Laser Detector once you access countries where the Radar / Laser
Detector is not allowed: press this buon briey (not longer than 2 sec.!). If you press this buon
too long, the device will set to ‘illuminaon’ mode and the Radar / Laser Detector will NOT be
switched o.
ii. To dim the display (long pressing, unl you see ILLU: xxx).

INSTALLATION IN THE CAR
2.1 DRIVE CONTROL
The QUINTEZZ DRIVE CONTROL is especially designed for use in the car. GPS signals are received through the built-in GPS antenna.
The following are some guidelines for mounng the detector :
• The unit may be posioned within 25° of horizontal without signicantly degrading performance.
• The informaon display of the DRIVE CONTROL has to be clearly visible to the driver.
• Do not mount directly behind windshield wipers.
