Operation
Operation
Using the appliance
Tips for the general use of the appliance:
If necessary, dry the surfaces of the refrigerated items before adding them to the
container in order to avoid the formation of condensation.
When the appliance is not in use, store the connection cables in the cable com-
partment provided on the lid.
When operating with the 12V power supply, make sure that the power supply to
the cooler is not interrupted too often (e.g. by frequently switching the motor on/
off (e.g. car)).
Note that the vehicle's battery can be discharged if the appliance is continuously
operated via the on-board power outlet.
For hygienic reasons, we recommend that you store only packaged foods in the
cooler.
To close the cooler, close the lid 4 and set the carrying handle 3 on.
CAUTION!
Do not switch directly from warming to cooling or vice versa, instead first pull the res-
pective power plug and let the appliance rest for approx. 5 minutes before changing
the function. This will prevent any damage to the Peltier element.
Tips for saving energy:
Choose a location that is well ventilated and protected from sunlight.
The cooler achieves best performance when you fill the appliance with food and
beverages that have already been pre-cooled or pre-heated.
Do not open the cooling appliance more often than necessary.
Do not leave the cooling appliance open longer than necessary, this can signifi-
cantly increase the internal temperature.
If necessary, use the Eco function when operating with 110 V (AC) (controller in
position Eco).
Make sure that the cooler is not over-packed and that no refrigerated items are
in direct contact with the openings on the underside of the lid, so that there is
sufficient air circulation between the refrigerated items.
