Freno per accompagnatore (Fig. 6.8)
Il freno per l'accompagnatore integra il freno Safari con un freno
aggiuntivo azionato dall'accompagnatore.
La leva è montata sulla maniglia di spinta e aziona il freno
Safari quando necessario.

Freni attivabili con una sola mano
La carrozzina è dotata di due serie di freni, attivabili dal lato
sinistro o destro. I freni agiscono direttamente sugli pneumatici.
Per azionarli, spostare in avanti la leva del freno fino al suo
arresto (Fig. 6.6). Per sbloccare la ruota, riportare la leva del
freno nella posizione di partenza.
L'azione dei freni sarà ridotta in caso di:
• profilo consumato degli pneumatici
• insufficiente pressione degli pneumatici
• pneumatici bagnati
• freno regolato non correttamente.
I freni non sono stati progettati per fermare la carrozzina in
movimento. Non azionare mai i freni durante la guida. Frenare
sempre aiutandosi con i corrimani. Verificare che la distanza tra
il freno ed lo pneumatico sia conforme alle specifiche. Per la
regolazione, allentare le viti (1) e impostare la distanza corretta,
(Fig. 6.6.1). Serrate nuovamente la vite (vedere la pagina
relativa alla coppia di serraggio).
