As van de handbike
De as van de handbike moet in een schuine lijn achterwaarts
aangepast worden ten opzichte van het zwaartepunt. Hierdoor
kan de accessoire handbike veilig worden gebruikt, (Fig.
4.10.1).
GEVAAR!
Het gebruik van een handbike zonder speciale as kan de
rolstoel instabiel maken. Dit kan leiden tot ernstig letsel bij de
rolstoelgebruiker of andere mensen.

Aanpassing van de as van de handbike
Handbike versterkingskit
Om de handbike versterkingskit te monteren:
• Steek de nippel aan het ene uiteinde van de kabel in het
daartoe bestemde gat (de ontvanger) aan de voorzijde
van het frame (Fig. 4.10.2).
• Steek de nippel aan het andere uiteinde van de kabel in
het daartoe bestemde gat (de ontvanger) aan de
achterzijde van het frame (Fig. 4.10.3).
• Steek de spanner (A) in de kabelontvanger aan de
achterzijde van het frame (Fig. 4.10.4).
• Beweeg de spanner (A) naar boven naar de ontvanger tot
de voorzijde (B) net in beweging begint te komen richting
achterzijde (Fig. 4.10.5).
• Houd de kabel met behulp van de spanner strak
gespannen, en draai de schroef op de kabelontvanger aan
de achterzijde aan (Fig. 4.10.5).
• Herhaal het proces voor de andere kant.
WAARSCHUWING!
Controleer de spanning op beide kabels telkens voor en na
gebruik van de handbike.
