I have the Pure StreamR but its all of a sudden stopped charging. We have tried different cables and sockets and nothing works

Hi got this speaker today fully charged,when it arrived it arrived with top in on mode and was not pushes down .Have tried several times but when push top down to turn of just cones up wont stay down or turn off please can you help?
