SUSPENSION FORK
Many bicycles are equipped with suspension forks to give you as the rider better cycling comfort.
In some models, the spring pre-tension can be adjusted individually. In this case, the fork may be
adjusted to the weight of the rider and payload.
For athletic bicycles such as mountain bikes, the type of ground or terrain is also decisive. The
spring pre-tension can be optimally adjusted to the terrain that way.
SETTING THE SPRING PRETENSION
You can set the spring pre-tension of the fork by turning the
lateral adjustment screw of the triple clamp

Depending on equipment, the adjustment screw is on the
left, right or both sides of the fork.
Stiffer deflection turn clockwise (+)
More comfortable suspension Turn counter-clockwise (–)
LOCKOUT
The lockout function completely blocks the deflection of the fork. This helps specifically if you
ride a mountain bike on asphalted, well-paved paths or up-
hill.
SWITCHING THE SUSPENSION ON/OFF
Turn the lever

the spring travel. Reactivate the spring function by turning the
lever towards OPEN.
