SADDLE | SEAT POST
SET THE INCLINATION AND POSITION
The saddle position (distance from the handlebar) and the
saddle inclination can be set individually. Inclination of the
saddle should be about horizontal. Since the "correct" saddle
inclination is, however purely subjective, it may differ from cy-
clist to cyclist.
Depending on the seat post and saddle used, the inclination or
position of the saddle can be set differently:
SEAT POST WITH CLAMP
1. Use a 13 mm hexagon wrench to release the nut at the side
of the seat clamp

. In some models, the counter-screw
must be countered with a 6 mm hexagonal socket wrench.
2. Adjust the inclination or distance from the saddle to the
handlebar.
3. Tighten the nut

again well according to the torque spec-
ification (see chapter torque specifications).
PATENTED SEAT POST
1. Loosen the lower hexagonal screw

SUSPENSION SEAT POST
A suspension seat post compensates for impacts and irregular-
ities of the track or the ground and minimises them. This re-
lieves the spine and discs of the cyclist accordingly. You can ad-
just your spring strength individually.
ADJUST THE SUSPENSION
You can set the suspension at the lower screw of the seat post
with a 6 or 8 mm hexagonal socket wrench (
