HANDLEBAR

RIGID HANDLEBAR STEM

In a rigid handlebar step, the handlebar can be adjusted for height, position and inclination angle

depending on version.

SETTING THE POSITION AND HEIGHT

1. Loosen the clamp screw

with a 6 mm hexagon so-

cket wrench.

2. Set the handlebar or stem position and height.

3. Tighten the clamp screw

again well according to

the torque speciﬁcation (s. chapter Torque speciﬁcations).

SETTING THE HANDLEBAR INCLINATION

1. Loosen the clamp spindle screw

with a 6 mm

hexagonal socket wrench.

2. Adjust the inclination angle of the handlebar.

3. Turn the handlebar attachments (e.g. brake lever) back to the

starting position.

4. Tighten the clamp spindle screw

again well accor-

ding to the torque speciﬁcation (s. chapter Torque speciﬁca-

tions).

DANGER OF ACCIDENT!

• Ensure before every ride and after setting that the handlebar, the screws of

the handle attachment, the closure mechanics and the handlebar quick

clamp are fitted tightly!

• The handlebar must not be inclined at straight rides.

• Do not put any carrying bags on the handlebar for transporting objects, sin-

ce this may impair the riding performance. Instead, only use commercial bi-

cycle baskets or handlebar bags.

WARNING!

DANGER OF BREAK AND ACCIDENTS!

• The stem must not be pulled out beyond the maximum mark of the handle-

bar shaft! The mark of the minimum insertion depth on the handlebar shaft

must not be visible. No warranty if this is not observed!
