BEFORE FIRST USE

Before using this appliance for the first time, clean the appliance (see the chapter “CLEANING” below).

ASSEMBLY

WARNING: ALWAYS make sure the appliance is turned off and unplugged before assembly and disassembly.

1. Place the sieve holder on the motor unit.

2. Push the sieve firmly into place on the motor base.

3. Place the chute/cover on the sieve holder.

4. Attach the pulp container to the appliance and lock the chute/cover with the safety locking handles in place.

5. Push the food pusher down into place.

Make sure that the grooves on the food pusher are aligned with the tabs inside the chute.

6. Place the juice container under the juice outlet.

NOTE: Make sure that the safety locking handles and the chute/cover are locked in place properly; otherwise the

appliance will not operate.

To disassemble,

Remove the food pusher.

Remove the pulp and juice containers.

Remove the chute/cover after pulling the safety locking handles outwards from the bottom.

Remove the sieve and the sieve holder.

PREPARING

y Wash fruits and vegetables.

y Peel fruits that have inedible skins such as citrus fruits, pineapples, melons, papaya, etc.

y Remove the hard seeds or stones of the fruits such as peaches, nectarines, cherries, etc.

y Most fruits and vegetables such as apples, carrots and cucumbers don’t need to be cut. If the pieces are too big for

the chute, slice the fruit or vegetables before juicing.
