IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY TO PERSONS AND
PROPERTY,
CAREFULLY READ ALL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE
USING THE APPLIANCE.
READ THE INSTRUCTION BOOK SUPPLIED WITH THE
APPLIANCE THAT CONTAINS ADDITIONAL SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
THIS APPLIANCE IS INTENDED FOR DOMESTIC / HOUSEHOLD
USE ONLY; AND SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR ANY OTHER
PURPOSE OR IN ANY OTHER APLICATION, SUCH AS NON DO-
MESTIC USE OR IN A COMMERCIAL ENVIRONMENT.
If anything goes wrong with the appliance do not repair it yourself,
contact a qualified service agent to carry out any repairs or
maintenance or contact the store where you purchased the
appliance.
This appliance should only be used for its intended purpose as
described in the operating instructions supplied with the appliance.
The appliance has been designed and manufactured to comply with
European safety standards.
Installation
Remove all packaging materials and examine the appliance for any
damage, if damage is found notify the retail store where the
appliance was purchased.
For appliances that are connected to the water mains by hose sets;
The appliance is to be connected to the water mains using new
hose-sets, old hose-sets shall not be used.
Install or locate this appliance in accordance with the installation
instructions found in the operating instructions supplied with the
appliance.
Power Supply:
Check that the voltage range marked on the appliance matches that
of the local supply. The manufacturer accepts NO responsibility for
any damage or injury resulting from using the appliance with any
voltage other than that specified on the appliance, using an
incorrect voltage is dangerous and may result in a fire or damage to
the appliance.
If the appliance has a supply cord with an earth connection, the
plug must be connected to a mains socket that is properly installed
and earthed.
If the mains plug is removed for any reason, dispose of the re-
moved plug, as it is dangerous if it is inserted into a live power
outlet. If a fuse is fitted in the plug, remove the fuse before disposal.
Carefully follow the wiring instructions supplied with a new mains
plug.
Never unplug the appliance by pulling the mains cord,

there is a risk of tripping or fire hazards.
For your safety
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
DO NOT leave Packaging materials (i.e. plastic bags, polystyrene
foam, staples, packing straps, etc.) within easy reach of children,
as these may cause serious injuries.
DO NOT attempt to modify the technical characteristics of the appli-
ance as the appliance may become dangerous to use.
DO NOT install or use the appliance if it is damaged in any way.
DO NOT continue to use this appliance if the mains lead or the plug
is damaged, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the
appliance.
DO NOT leave the appliance unattended while it is operating unless
it is designed to do so.
DO NOT cover or block any ventilation slots or vents on the
appliance or push objects into any openings or holes, If they are
blocked during operation, the appliance may overheat and damage
or injury may result.
DO NOT use this appliance outdoors or expose to rain or moisture
unless it is specifically designed for outdoor use.
DO NOT use this appliance near water, for example near a kitchen
sink, in a bathroom or near a swimming pool unless specified in the
operating instructions.
DO NOT Use the appliance if it does not work properly or if it has
been dropped or damaged in any way.
DO NOT remove outer panels or covers from the appliance
(unless otherwise stated in the instructions). Repairs must only be
undertaken by a qualified service agent.
DO NOT place the appliance near a hot surface such as a cooking
range or radiator.
DO NOT immerse the appliance, mains cord or plug in water and
keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
DO NOT let the mains cord hang over edge of a table or counter or
touch hot surfaces.
DISPOSAL
As a responsible retailer we care about the environment.
As such we urge you to follow the correct disposal procedure for
the appliance, packaging materials and if applicable, batteries.
This will help conserve natural resources and ensure that it is
recycled in a manner that protects health and the environment.
You must dispose of this appliance and its packaging according to
local laws and regulations.
Because this appliance contains electronic components and may
contain batteries, the appliance and its accessories must be dis-
posed of separately from household waste when the appliance
reaches its end of life.
As old refrigeration equipment may contain CFC’s which will
damage the ozone layer, when disposing of any refrigeration
equipment, contact your local waste disposal facility for advice on
the correct method of disposal.
Contact your local authority to learn about disposal and recycling.
The appliance and if applicable, batteries should be taken to your
local collection point for recycling. Some collection points accept
appliance free of charge.
Read the operating instructions supplied separately, to find out if
batteries are fitted and how to remove them for disposal or what
action to take if the batteries are not readily accessible / removable.
Batteries must be disposed of at your local recycling point.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by minor
inconsistencies in the instructions, which may occur as a result of
appliance improvement and development.
