SAFETY INFORMATION
Before first time use:
Carefully read the instructions in this booklet, as they provide important information about safe installation, use and
maintenance.
Keep this booklet in a safe place for future reference.
Before using the appliance make sure it is in perfect condition.
The hotplates, glass door and outer casing should show no signs of cracks or damage.
The cable and plug of the power cord should not be damaged in any way, if any damage is found, do not connect the
appliance to the mains supply and contact the store from where the appliance was purchased.
Before connecting the appliance to the mains supply ensure that the voltage for your local area matches that of the rating
plate on the rear of the appliance.
When running the oven for the first time it may produce an odour, this is due to insulating materials and the heating
elements, therefore it is recommended to run the oven at full temperature for a minimum of 30 minutes.
It is also recommended that a window or door is opened to allow adequate ventilation.
Unplug the appliance and once the oven has cooled down completely and before cooking clean the oven housing, interior
and shelf thoroughly.
Avoid water droplets and impacts to the oven door while it is still hot.
Before moving the appliance; please ensure that it has cooled down completely.
Place the oven on a flat, even, dry surface and ensure to leave a minimum clearance of 10cm between the rear, side and
wall (Fig D).
Do not install the oven under shelving, cupboards or inside furniture (Fig D).
NOTE: This is not a built in appliance.
Do not use the appliance in damp or flammable areas.
Be sure to use cooking vessels that are oven compatible.
The mains plug shall be the main disconnect device and should be accessible at all times
WARNINGS
The surfaces are liable to get hot during use.
– This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and should not be used for any other purpose or in any
other application, such as for non-domestic use or in a commercial environment.
– This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
– Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
– The supply cord should be regularly examined for signs of damage and the appliance is not to be used if the cord is
damaged.
– If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a hazard.
–The appliance is to be connected to a socket-outlet having an earthing contact.
– The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
– The door or the outer surface may get hot when the appliance is operating.
– Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
– The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.
– Warning: Accessible parts may become hot during use. Young children should be kept away.
– Warning: Danger of fire: do not store items on the cooking surface.
– Warning: Unattended cooking on the hot plates with fat or oil can be dangerous and may result in fire. NEVER try to
extinguish a fire with water, but switch off the appliance and then cover flame e.g. with a lid or a fire blanket.
– Do not use a steam cleaner.
– During use the appliance becomes hot. Care should be taken to avoid touching heating elements inside the oven.
– Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers to clean the oven door glass since they can scratch the
surface which may result in shattering of the glass.
– Excessive spillage must be removed before cleaning.
– WARNING: The appliance and its accessible parts become hot during use. Care should be taken to avoid touching
heating elements. Children less than 8 years of age shall be kept away unless continuously supervised.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before any operation of cleaning and maintenance disconnect the appliance from the electrical supply.
It is advisable to clean when the appliance is cold and especially for cleaning the enamelled parts.
Avoid leaving alkaline or acidic substances (lemon juice, vinegar, etc.) on the surfaces.
Avoid using cleaning products with a chlorine or acidic base.
The oven must always be cleaned after every use, using suitable products.
All the enamelled parts must be cleaned with a sponge and soapy water only or other non-abrasive products.
Dry preferably with a micro fibre cloth or soft cloth.
CAUTION: Do not use abrasive substances or non-neutral detergents as these will irreparably damage the surface.
