Filters should be replaced at least twice a year or when they become visibly soiled.
Always operate the cleaner with filters installed to avoid reduced suction.
Disconnect from electrical outlet before changing the filters.
Cleaning the cartridge filter
Always operate the cleaner with the cartridge filter installed.
ØOpen the top cover (fig. 19).
ØRemove the dust container from the cleaner (fig. 20).
ØRemove the filter set from the dust container by taking it as indicated in the icon (fig. 21).
ØRemove the cartridge filter by turning it counter - clockwise (A) and pull it out (B) as indicated in the icon (fig. 23).
ØRinse it under tap water (fig. 24).
ØAir dry for approximately 24 hours, to ensure it is completely dry before reusing. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme drying circumstances (hair-dryer,etc.)(fig.25).
ØInsert the cartridge filter into its place (B) and turn it clockwise (A) as indicated in the icon (fig. 23).
ØPut the filter set back into the dust container (fig. 21). Put the dust container back into the cleaner (fig. 20).
ØClose the top cover (fig. 19).

Cleaning the motor filters
Motorfilter ‘A’
ØOpen the top cover (fig. 19).
ØRemove the dust container from the cleaner (fig. 20).
ØRemove the filter set from the dust container by taking it as indicated in the icon (fig. 21).
ØRemove the cartridge filter by turning it counter - clockwise (A) and pull it out (B) as indicated in the icon (fig. 23).
ØRemove the filter from its place (fig. 26).
ØRinse it under tap water and dry it completely (fig. 28).
ØPut the filter back into its place (fig. 26).
ØInsert the cartridge filter into its place (B) and turn it clockwise (A) as indicated in the icon. (fig. 23).
ØPut the filter set back into the dust container (fig. 21).
ØPut the dust container back into the cleaner (fig. 20).
ØClose the top cover (fig. 19).
Motorfilter ‘B’
ØOpen the top cover (fig. 19).
ØRemove the filter from its place (fig. 27).
ØRinse it under tap water and dry it completely (fig. 28).
ØPut the filter back into its place (fig. 27). Close the top cover (fig. 19).

Cleaning/replacing the exhaust filter
PC7220, PC7260, PC7280:
ØOpen the filter grill to remove the exhaust filter (fig. 29).
ØTake the filter out of the grill (fig. 30).
ØRinse it under tap water and dry it completely (fig. 28).
ØPut the filter back into the grill (fig. 30). Close the filter grill (fig. 29).
ØAttempt to recycle packaging material and old appliances.
ØThe cardboard packaging can be placed in the waste paper collection.
ØDeposit the plastic bag made of polyethylene (PE) at the PE collection point for recycling.
ØDeposit the polystyrene foam at the PS collection point for recycling.
Recycling the Appliance at the end of its life
ØThe plastic components all carry a material identification marking so that, like the other materials, they can recycled at the end of the life of the appli-
ance.
ØPlease inquire with your local authority.
Blocked air flow and dirty filters
ØThe cleaner stops automatically if a blockage occurs in the nozzle/tube/hose or if the filters are blocked with dirt.
ØDisconnect from mains and allow the cleaner to cool for 20-30 minutes. Remove blockage and/or clean filters.
