SOLAR LIGHT KIT EN - 1

PLI-920/PLI-921

We thank you for the purchase of this Profile

product. Note: It is important that you read this

manual before using the product Then keep this

manual in a safe place.

This kit consists of:

For PLI-921:

1. 1 x 5m cable

2. 1 x solar panel 14.5cm x 11.5cm

3. 1 light with 8 LEDs

For PLI-920:

1. 1 x 5m cable

2. 1 solar panel 14.5cm x 11.5cm

3. 2 lights each with 12 LEDs

Installation

1. Fig 1: Fasten the light(s) and the solar panel

using the screws supplied in the desired

place.

CAUTION! Place the solar panel in a place

where it can receive as much direct sunlight

as possible. This will lengthen the lighting

time of your light(s).

2. Fig 2 & Fig 3: Connect the cables supplied as

shown.

3. Fig 4: Switch the light(s) into the ON position.

Use

 The light(s) have been specially designed for

outside use. They can however be used

indoors as long as the solar panel is outside.

 The performance of this kit depends on the

strength of the sun and the number of hours

of sunlight a day. The panel can charge more

during a sunny day than during a cloudy day.

Maintenance

 To maintain the life of the lights it is best to

store the kit indoors during extremely poor

weather conditions.

 Clean the light(s) and the panel using a soft,

dry cloth. Never use chemical or abrasive

cleaning products.

 Regularly clean the solar panel. Dirt and dust

will reduce the performance of the panel.

Battery replacement

To ensure the best performance it is best to

replace the batteries every 12 months (fig. 5):

1. Remove the battery compartment cover using

a screwdriver

2. Fit new rechargeable batteries

3. Replace the cover and screw it tight again.

 3 x 1.5V AA rechargeable battery included

Guarantee conditions

The guarantee period for PLI-920/PLI-921 amounts to 2 years

and commences on the date of purchase. During this guarantee

period Eltra nv will repair any defects attributable to material or

production faults. ELTRA NV may choose to either repair or

replace a defective appliance.

ELTRA NV is not obliged to repair or replace appliances if they

have become defective as a result of damage, inappropriate

use, or modifications or adaptations made after the purchase

date.

Take any defective appliance together with the original receipt

back to the shop where the appliance was sold. Always add a

note with a description of the problem.

Damage

ELTRA NV can under no circumstances whatsoever be held

responsible for damage of whatever nature if the appliance was

not correctly installed according to the specified installation

instructions, nor for damage as a result of unforeseen

circumstances such as natural disasters, lightening strike, etc.

All such resulting costs are consequently at the expense of the

buyer and are not covered by the guarantee conditions.
