PLI-145-PLI151
We thank you for the purchase of this Profile product.
Note: It is important that you read this manual carefully
before using the product and be sure to save this
manual for possible use later.
Note
Check if building regulations apply to your area
whereby you must have the lamp installed by an
accredited electrician. An electrician can give you
information about correct wiring. Never install the fitting
outside in rainy weather.
SWITCH OFF THE POWER BEFORE YOU INSTALL
THE LAMP.
Correct mounting
With installation outside preferably choose a place
under a roof. Pay attention to the recommandations
in fig. 2
To avoid malfunctions, do not aim the sensor to:
o Warmth sources (e.g. the sun, BBQ ...)
o Strong magnetic fields
o Reflecting surfaces (e.g. white walls,
swimming pools)
The detection specifications can vary according to
altitude and place of assembly as well as
temperature oscillations.
Before determinating the place of installation, be
aware that movement straight through the detection
area works more effectively than movement directly
to or away from the sensor. (fig. 4)
Correct installation
Connect the lamp to a circuit with wall switch.
Unscrew the stainless steel bolts (fig 1.1) on the side
to take the holder (fig 1.2) from the fitting.
Fix the holder to the wall with 2 screws.
Fix the lamp back on the assembled holder and
adjust the light direction as you prefer.
Remove the cover of the cable connection (fig 1.3).
Untie the nut (fig 1.4) and the additional attachment
(fig 1.5) and pull the power supply wires through the
opening with the rubber packing.
The lamp must be connected to mains voltage of
230V, max. fusing 16A.
Connect the wires according to figure 3.
Fix the cable connection cover, the nut and the
additional attachment.
Remove the protection glass in front (fig 1.6) and
insert the included bulb. Then fix the glass again.
Always respect the instructions on the identification
label of the connected power cables.
Other uses than described above can cause damage
to the product and increase the risk of short-circuit,
fire, electric shocks, etc.
The product may not be adapted as a whole. The
safety instructions must be strictly observed.

If the arrow is pointing to the moon the sensor will only
respond at night.
In between the sensor responds in half-light.
2) Setting the lighting time (TIME)
With this adjusting knob you can set the period of the
light staying on after switching on. You can set the
time from 10 sec. to 4 min.
3) Setting the sensitivity (SENS)
With this switch you can stipulate how sensitive the
sensor reacts to movement.
