Using the ear protectors
Set the headband to the maximum open”
position. Place the earpieces over the ears
and the headband down over the head.
Adjust the height of the earpieces until they
feel comfortable and the headband is resting
on top of the head, supporting the earpieces.
The pads of the earpieces should t close
against the head.
To adjust the pressure of the band, adjust
the curve in order to achieve eff ective noise
attenuation. Put the ear protectors on prior
to any exposure to noise and keep them on
as long as the noise lasts.
Adjust the headband so that the ear
protectors can be worn comfortably and
cover the ears correctly.
The ear-muff s are tted, adjusted and
maintained in accordance with the
manufacturers instructions.
The ear-muff s are worn at all times in noisy
surroundings.
The ear-muff s are regularly inspected for
serviceability.
Cleaning
Clean the ear protectors with warm soapy
water. Do not use organic solvents or spirit
for cleaning. Never use corrosive or abrasive
cleaning agents, as these may attack the
plastic components.
Disinfection
We recommend disinfecting the ear
protectors every 3 months, depending how
much they are used. Any part of the ear
protectors that is in contact with the user
should be disinfected with spirit.
Storage
We recommend that the ear protectors be
kept in a dry bag or sealed box when not in
use.
