MONTAGE VAN DE FIETSEN OP DE FIETSENDRAGER
Verwijder alle onderdelen van de fietsen die tijdens het
transport gemakkelijk verloren kunnen gaan (E-bike accu’s,
fietspompen, snelheidsmeters, mandjes, fietstassen,
fietszitjes enz.). Door de hoge luchtweerstand en trillingen
kunnen deze onderdelen losraken en medeweggebruikers in
gevaar brengen.
De eerste fiets (en zwaarste, max. 20kg) moet in de achterste wielhouders
geplaatst worden (degene die het dichtst bij de auto is) en met de framehouder
aan de U-vormige beugel vastgemaakt worden.
Stel de wielhouders door middel van
inschuiven en uittrekken zodanig in dat
de wielen van de fiets er zo diep mogelijk
in staan, zo symmetrisch mogelijk. Let
op: Trek de wielhouders maximaal tot
aan de rode markering uit! De wielen
worden met de spanbanden stevig aan de
wielhouders vastgemaakt.
Bevestig de fiets zelf via de framehouder
aan de U-vormige beugel. Aangezien de
framehouders niet plaatsgebonden zijn,
kunt u meerdere posities uitproberen. Het
is belangrijk om de framehouders zo
hoog mogelijk te plaatsen. De fietsen
maakt u vast via de spanbanden. Door
het gebruik van deze spanbanden kan
elke fiets gemakkelijk vastgemaakt
worden en wordt het crankstel van de
fiets niet belast!
Zet elke volgende fiets, iedere keer in tegengestelde richting, in de
wielhouders en ga te werk zoals bij de eerste fiets.
Beveilig tenslotte uw fietsen met de
lange zwarte spanband (meegeleverd).
Leg deze hiervoor om de frames van de
fietsen en om de U-beugel en trek de
spanband vervolgens goed vast.
