TILTING MECHANISM

For easy access to the boot of your car, even if the bikes are mounted on the

carrier, you may use the tilting mechanism.

Caution: Always make sure that when you tilt the bike carrier that you

hold the bike carrier or the bikes very tight so the bike carrier does not

fall down when you unlock the tilting system!

With one hand, keep a firm grip on the upright frame or

the bikes, so that the carrier can not fall down in an

uncontrolled movement. With the other hand, push the

tilting mechanism handle down and slide the locking catch

aside to release the handle. It is now possible to tilt the

carrier.

Caution: Make sure that the lightning cable can not get damaged when

you lift up the bike carrier again!

To secure the carrier again, you have to raise it and push the handle down until

it is automatically locked again by the locking catch. Before letting loose the bike

carrier, please check carefully if the locking catch has fixed the handle

completely and can not flip back.
