This attractive Princess New Classics Grill
is one of the products in our New Classics

chrome-plated steel. You can use the Grill
to fry, grill or heat meat, chicken, fish and
vegetables, and to prepare sandwiches
and tostis.
The Grill is equipped with top and bottom
grill plates, and is supplied with a fat tray to
collect excess juices. The appliance is
extremely simple to use. All you need to do
is connect the appliance to a 220 - 240 V
mains power supply. Wait until the
appliance has heated up, and put the food
on the grill plate. You will be rewarded with
a delicious grilled meal within no time at all.
Operation and
controls
See figures 1a and 1b.
The appliance is equipped with the
following features:
1 Housing
2 Grill plates
3 Hinged top
4 On/Off indicator light (red)
5 Temperature indication light (green)
6 Fat tray
7 Power cord and plug
Before use for the first time
1 Take the appliance out of the
packaging.
2 Clean the appliance. See ‘Cleaning and
maintenance’.
Use
Place the appliance on a flat, stable,
heat-resistant and splash-proof
surface where it cannot fall.
Take care when using the appliance.
The grill plates are very hot, and can
cause burns if touched.
Watch out for steam and splashes
when putting food on the hot grill
plate and closing the top.
The appliance’s housing will also
become hot, since the housing is an
excellent conductor of heat.
Use oven gloves if you need to touch
the appliance during or after use.
1 Verify that the grill plates are clean, and
free of food residues or dust. If
necessary, clean the grill plates with a
damp cloth. Verify that the fat tray is
correctly fitted under the grill.
2 Brush a thin film of vegetable oil onto
the grill plates. This is beneficial to the
non-stick coating.
3 Put the plug into the wall socket. The
red On/Off indicator light will illuminate.
The appliance will now heat up. This
will take about 4 minutes.
4 The set temperature has been attained
once the green temperature-indicator
light extinguishes. Put on oven gloves
and carefully open the hinged top.
5 Use a wooden or plastic spatula to put
the food on the bottom grill plate. Never
use metal utensils; they could damage
the non-stick coating. Watch out for
steam from the food. Carefully lower
the hinged top onto the food.
6 The food will be grilled after about 6
minutes; the precise time will depend
on your wishes. Stay in the vicinity of
the appliance to check whether the food
is ready, and is not burning.
7 Once the food is cooked, put on oven
gloves and carefully lift the hinged top.
Watch out for steam and splashes.
8 Use a wooden or plastic spatula to
remove the food from the grill plate.
