Never use the vacuum cleaner without a vacuum cleaner bag, as the motor can be irreparably damaged.
As soon as the bag/compartment is full, the suction power of the vacuum will be greatly reduced. If this is
the case, do not use the vacuum cleaner again until it has been emptied. To empty the bag/compartment, open
the front of the vacuum cleaner by pressing on the button next to the handle and sliding the front section
downwards at an angle. Then remove the bag and empty the dust compartment. Shake the bag out well
and clean it in lukewarm soapy water, if desired. Then let it dry out completely! Next, put the bag back
into the compartment and click the compartment back into place. Take care not to block the ventilation
openings.
CLEANING: FIRST REMOVE THE PLUG FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET. NEVER SUBMERGE
THE VACUUM CLEANER IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
Clean the outer surface and the dust compartment with a damp cloth. Do not use any abrasive or aggressive
cleansers.
PRINCESS TIPS
- Never vacuum up liquids.
- Never vacuum up hot and/or burning materials.
- Take care that the cord, or extension cord, is laid out so that no one can trip over it.
- Do not wind the cord up tightly around the vacuum cleaner after use, but roll it up loosely to prevent
damage. Do not carry or pull the vacuum cleaner by the cord.
- If there is damage to the vacuum cleaner or cord, we advise you not to use the appliance, but to bring it
back to the store for repairs. A damaged cord can only be replaced by the service center.
- Do not use the vacuum cleaner outside.

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE NEUTRAL
BROWN LIVE
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour
markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
WARNING: ON NO ACCOUNT SHOULD EITHER THE LIVE OR NEUTRAL WIRES
BE CONNECTED TO THE EARTH TERMINAL
