- Switch on the appliance.
- Once about 2 cups have flowed through, switch off the appliance and let it stand for a half-hour to
allow the descaling agent to work. Switch on the appliance again. After all of the water with
descaling agent has flowed through, brew clean water through it three times to rinse away any
remaining traces of descaling agent.
NOTE: Let the appliance cool down for about three minutes in between rinses. The warranty does not
apply to appliances with calcified build-up.
PRINCESS TIPS
- Place the coffee maker on a sturdy, stable surface.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
- The exterior can become quite hot. Only pick up the pot using the handle.
- Do not place the appliance to close to the edge of the table, or work surface as people may trip over
it; do not leave the cord dangling in case people or objects become entangled. Remember: the
appliance contains hot water!
- Do not use the equipment if it is damaged, or if the cord is damaged. Send it to our Service
Department. With this type of appliance, a damaged cord should only be replaced by our service
department using special tools.
- Do not place the appliance on or directly adjacent to a warm hotplate or other source of heat.
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or if any fault develops.
- The hotplate gets very hot: Ensure that children cannot reach it and be careful yourself.
U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE = neutral, BROWN = LIVE, GREEN-YELLOW = EARTH
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour
markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
The wire which is coloured GREEN-YELLOW must be connected to the earth terminal which is marked
with the letter E or or coloured green and yellow.
With this appliance, if a 13 amp plug is used a 13 amp fuse should be fitted. If any other type of plug is
used a 15 amp fuse must be fitted either in the plug or at the distribution board.

AVANT L'EMPLOI
Lisez attentivement ce mode d'emploi et conservez-le afin de pouvoir le consulter ultérieurement si
nécessaire. Assurez-vous que le voltage de votre logement correspond à celui indiqué sur l'appareil.
Raccordez l’appareil uniquement à une prise de terre.
Avant la première utilisation, faire passer de l’eau sans café dans la cafetière PRINCESS CAFÉ
CAMPING pour en nettoyer l’intérieur. Rincer ensuite la verseuse et le porte-filtre.
UTILISATION DE LA CAFETIERE PRINCESS CAFÉ CAMPING
Remplir le réservoir d’eau, mettre un filtre en papier (taille 1x4) et du café moulu dans le
porte-filtre. Placer la verseuse sur la plaque chauffante et allumer la cafetière PRINCESS
CAFÉ CAMPING.
Attention : Quand le café est prêt, attendre au moins 5 minutes avant d'en refaire afin de
laisser refroidir l'appareil.
POUR GARDER AU CHAUD
Le café reste chaud tant que la cafetière PRINCESS CAFÉ CAMPING est allumée.
