LET OP: laat tussen iedere ‘doorspoelbeurt’ het apparaat een minuut of drie afkoelen. Bij verkalkte
apparaten vervalt de garantie.
PRINCESS-TIPS
- Plaats het toestel op een stevig en stabiel oppervlak.
- Dompel het apparaat nooit in water of andere vloeistof onder.
- De buitenkant van de kan wordt vrij warm. Pak de kan dus alleen bij de handgreep beet.
- Zorg dat het apparaat niet zo dicht bij de rand van tafel, werkblad e.d. staat dat iemand het eraf zou
kunnen stoten; zorg ook dat het snoer niet zodanig hangt dat men erover zou kunnen struikelen of
erachter blijven haken. Bedenk dat de kan gevuld is met heet water!
- Gebruik het apparaat niet als het beschadigd is of als het snoer beschadigd is, maar stuur het dan
naar onze servicedienst. Bij dit type toestellen kan een beschadigd snoer uitsluitend met speciaal
gereedschap door onze servicedienst vervangen worden.
- Plaats het apparaat niet op of in de directe nabijheid van een hete kookplaat e.d.
- Trek altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact vóór het schoonmaken en bij storingen.
- Het warmhoudplaatje wordt erg heet: zorg dat kinderen er niet bij kunnen en wees er zelf ook
voorzichtig mee.
- Zorg ervoor dat kinderen niet met dit apparaat spelen.
- Het is niet zonder gevaar om dit apparaat te laten gebruiken door kinderen of personen met een
geestelijke of lichamelijke handicap, of met te weinig ervaring of deskundigheid. De voor de
veiligheid van deze gebruikers verantwoordelijke persoon dient ze duidelijke instructies te geven
voor of ze te begeleiden bij het gebruik van dit apparaat.

BEFORE USING
Read these instructions thoroughly first and keep them for future reference. Check that your domestic
electricity supply matches that of the appliance. Only connect this appliance to an earthed socket.
The luxury coffeemaker brews 12-15 cups, features a convenient removable filter with anti-drip, removable
reservoir, water-level indicator, safe thermostatic control and on/off switch with indicator light.
USING THE COFFEEMAKER
First let the water circulate through the PRINCESS COFFEE MASTER without adding any coffee,
in order to cleanse the system. Afterwards, rinse the pot and the filter holder.
Fill the reservoir with water and place a filter paper (size 1x4) in the filter holder. Place the pot on the
hotplate and turn on the PRINCESS COFFEE MASTER. Use approx. four full measures of coffee for
a full pot of water. This will produce a medium coffee.
CAUTION: After making coffee, wait at least 5 minutes before making another pot, in order to let the
appliance cool off.
KEEPING WARM
The coffee stays warm as long as the PRINCESS COFFEE MASTER coffeemaker is switched on.
CLEANING
ALWAYS UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE BEFORE CLEANING. Rinse the glass pot and
the filter holder.
These parts are not dishwasher-safe. The outside of the PRINCESS COFFEE MASTER
can be wiped down with a damp cloth.
DESCALING
Regular descaling will help prolong the life of the COFFEE MASTER. It is a good idea
to descale around once a month. If the local water supply is especially hard, twice a month
is recommended. Hard water is more than 20* DH (a German scale used to measure water
hardness). Your water company can tell you the degree of hardness.
