LET OP:
Laat tussen de doorspoelbeurten het apparaat een minuut of drie afkoelen.
Bij verkalkte apparaten vervalt de garantie.
PRINCESS TIPS
- Plaats het toestel op een stevig en stabiel oppervlak.
- Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of een andere vloeistof.
- De buitenkant van de kan wordt vrij warm. Pak de kan dus alleen bij de handgreep beet.
- Zorg dat het apparaat niet dermate dicht bij de rand van een tafel, werkblad o.i.d. staat, dat iemand het
eraf zou kunnen stoten. Zorg ook dat het snoer niet zodanig hangt dat men erover kan struikelen of
erachter kan blijven haken. Bedenk dat de kan gevuld is met heet water!
- Gebruik het apparaat niet als het beschadigd is of als het snoer beschadigd is. Stuur het in dat geval
naar onze servicedienst. Bij dit type toestellen kan een beschadigd snoer uitsluitend met speciaal
gereedschap door onze servicedienst vervangen worden.
- Plaats het apparaat niet op of in de directe nabijheid van een hete kookplaat o.i.d.
- Trek bij storingen en voordat u gaat schoonmaken altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact.
- Het warmhoudplaatje wordt erg heet: zorg dat kinderen er niet bij kunnen en wees er zelf ook
voorzichtig mee.

BEFORE USING
Read these instructions thoroughly first and keep them for future reference. Check whether the voltage in
the home corresponds with that of the appliance (230 Volts). Only connect this appliance to an earthed
socket.
The coffee maker brews 10-12 cups, features a convenient filter with anti-drip and has an on/off switch
with indicator light.
USING THE COFFEE MAKER
First let the water circulate through the PRINCESS Nice Price Coffee Maker without adding any coffee,
in order to cleanse the system. Afterwards, rinse the pot and the filter holder. Fill the reservoir with water
and place a filter paper (size 104) in the filter holder. Place the pot on the hotplate and switch on the
PRINCESS Nice Price Coffee Maker. Use approx. four full measures of coffee for a full pot of water.
This will produce a medium coffee.
NOTE: After making coffee, wait at least 5 minutes before making another pot, in order to let the
appliance cool off.
KEEPING WARM
The coffee stays warm as long as the PRINCESS Nice Price Coffee Maker is switched on.
CLEANING
ALWAYS UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE BEFORE CLEANING. Rinse the glass pot and the filter holder.
These parts are not dishwasher-safe. The outside of the PRINCESS Nice Price Coffee Maker can be
wiped down with a damp cloth.
DESCALING
Regular descaling will help prolong the life of the PRINCESS Nice Price Coffee Maker.
It is a good idea to descale around once a month. If the local water supply is especially
hard, twice a month is recommended. Hard water is more than 20° DH (a German scale
used to measure water hardness). Your water company can tell you the degree of hardness.
You should immediately descale when the appliance:
- Makes gurgling noises.
- Takes longer than usual to brew.
- Still has water in the reservoir after brewing.
