IF SOLID FAT IS USED, WATER CAN BECOME TRAPPED INSIDE CAUSING THE HOT FAT TO
SPATTER FORCEFULLY WHEN HEATED.
- Never switch on the deep fryer without oil or fat, as this could damage the machine. Also, do not place
any other liquids such as water in the pan.
- Place the deep fryer on a dry, stable surface. Since the deep fryer becomes hot during use, make sure
that it is not too close to other objects.
- Remove the lid from the deep fryer.
- Fill the deep fryer with the desired amount of oil or fat. Make sure that it is filled to the minimum level
and not higher than the maximum level as indicated on the inside of the appliance. For best results, we
recommend that you do not mix different kinds of oil.
- Choose the correct temperature for what you are frying using the temperature table included.
- Use the handle to place the basket in the deep fryer.
- Place the food to be deep-fried into the basket. For best results, put dry food into the basket.
- Slowly lower the basket into the oil to prevent excessive bubbling.
- The indicator light will go out when the correct temperature has been reached. Always wait until the
selected temperature has been reached. To keep the oil at the selected temperature, the thermostat
cycles on and off, as does the indicator light.
- Lift the basket out again when the frying time has elapsed. Hang it on the hook in the pan to allow the
oil to drain out.
- Unplug the deep fryer from the socket.
- Rinse the basket after use, and dry thoroughly.
- Once the deep fryer has completely cooled off, you can replace the basket in the appliance to store it.
Store the deep fryer, with the lid closed, in a dark, dry place. You can leave the oil and the basket in the
deep fryer when storing.
FRYING TIPS
- Use no more than 200 g French fries per litre of oil.
- For frozen foods, use no more than 100 g because they cool down quickly. Remove excess ice from
frozen foods by shaking them over the sink before frying.
- If using fresh potatoes: dry the fries thoroughly after washing so that no water gets into the oil.
- Deep-fry the fries in 2 stages. First stage (pre-frying): 5 -10 minutes at 170 degrees C. Second stage
(final frying) 2 - 4 minutes at 190 degrees C. Drain well.

TO REPLACE THE OIL
Make sure the deep fryer and the oil are completely cool before replacing the oil (unplug
the fryer from the socket!). Replace the oil regularly. This is absolutely necessary if the oil
turns dark, or takes on a different odour. In any case, replace the oil after every 10 uses.
Replace the oil all at once; do not mix old and new oil. Discarded oil is an environmental
pollutant. Do not discard with household waste, but follow municipal waste disposal
guidelines in your area.
