WAFFLE RECIPE (FOR ABOUT 15 WAFFLES)
Ingredients:
250 g butter
250 g self-raising flour
250 g sugar
4 eggs
Melt the butter slowly, then add the sugar and 8 egg yolks. Mix them all to a creamy consistency. Whip
the 4 egg whites to form stiff peaks. Now gently add the sieved flour and mix until it thickens. Finally
add the beaten egg whites. The mixture is now ready for use.

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE NEUTRAL
BROWN LIVE
GREEN/YELLOW EARTH
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour
markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the
letter L or coloured red.
The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW must be connected to the terminal which is marked with
the letter E or and is coloured GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW

AVANT L'EMPLOI
Avant d’utiliser cet appareil lisez attentivement le mode d’emploi et conservez-le soigneusement afin de
pouvoir le consulter ultérieurement si nécessaire. Assurez-vous que le voltage de votre logement correspond
à celui indiqué sur l'appareil. Raccorder l'appareil uniquement à une prise de terre.
L’appareil peut légèrement fumer lors de la première utilisation. C’est un phénomène normal qui se
produit quand les résistances sont neuves et cela ne dure que brièvement.
UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL
Dérouler entièrement le cordon avant d’introduire la fiche dans la prise. Placer l’appareil sur une surface
stable résistante à la chaleur. L’appareil peut à présent être ouvert. Fermer l’appareil et lais-
ser chauffer les plaques. Le voyant « ready » s’allume lorsque les plaques ont atteint la
bonne température.
UTILISATION DU GAUFRIER
Attendre que les plaques aient atteint la bonne température. Si la pâte à gaufre est liquide,
utiliser une louche pour la verser afin de bien recouvrir la surface moulée de la plaque
inférieure. Si la pâte est solide, l’étaler sur la surface moulée de la plaque. Veillez à ce que
la pâte soit bien répartie sur la plaque. Fermer l’appareil. La pâte sera compressée dans le
moule de la plaque supérieure. Retirer les gaufres dès qu’elles sont prêtes. Utiliser de
préférence une fourchette à deux dents.
