Tip: Start by fitting the screws (11) in the

upper supports and turn the nuts a few

turns on the screws. Then press the

griddle foot holder on the supports and

fasten the screws.

5 Place the grill plate (6 or 15) on the

griddle foot holders (12) with the

thermostat socket on the left side.

Fasten the screws (11, 4x) to secure

the grill plate.

6 Position the L-shaped metal rods (13) in

the back side of griddle foot holders

(12).

7 Fold the folding hinge wind shield (7 or

14) as shown in the assembly drawing.

Model 112323: 4 sides (14);

Model 112324: 3 sides (7).

8 Shift the wind shield over the L-shaped

supports (13).

9 Clip the metal wire rack (8) in the wind

shield (7, model 112324 only).

Assemble the sauce rack (model 112324

only):

10 Place the sauce rack (10) in the two

holes of the right griddle foot holder (12)

and place the sauce containers (9) in

the sauce rack.

Use

• The appliance is suitable for outdoor

use.

• Plug the appliance into an earthed

wall socket.

• When necessary, use an earthed

extension lead of a suitable diameter

(at least 3 mm

) and make sure water

cannot enter the contact plugs of the

appliance and the extension cord.

• When the appliance is switched on the

light will illuminate and extinguish as

the thermostat switches the heating

element on and off to maintain the

required temperature.

• Charcoal or similar combustible fuels

must not be used with this appliance.

• Hot grease can splash from the

appliance towards users when the

thermostat is set higher than

165 degrees Celsius.

• Never allow metal cutlery to contact

the grill plate, since this could damage

the non-stick coating.

• Do not touch the hot grill plate. Use

oven gloves if you need to touch the

appliance during or shortly after use.

1 Prepare the ingredients.

2 Clean the grill plate with a damp cloth.

3 Place the appliance on a sturdy flat

surface.

4 Plug the thermostat in the appliance’s

socket.

5 Put the plug into an earthed wall socket.

6 Adjust the thermostat dial.

7 Wait about 10 minutes until the

temperature light has extinguished. The

grill plate has now reached the required

temperature.

Tip: Small pieces will cook better – and

more quickly – than large pieces.

Tip: Adjust the thermostat setting to suit

the ingredients; experiment with the

cooking time and temperature required to

achieve the best results.

Maintenance

and cleaning

• Never move the appliance whilst it is

switched on or is still hot. Switch off

the appliance, and wait until it has

cooled down before moving it.

• Before cleaning, make sure the

appliance is not connected to the

power supply and that it has cooled

down.

• Never immerse the thermostat in

water or other liquids. If this happens
