VEILIGHEIDSGORDEL (OPTIONEEL)
Uw Scootmobiel kan uitgerust worden met een verstelbare veiligheidsgordel. Zie figuur 14. De
veiligheidsgordel is ontwikkeld om ervoor te zorgen dat de berijder(ster) niet zijwaarts of voorwaarts kan
glijden. De veiligheidsgordel is niet ontwikkeld als een middel om een persoon vast te zetten in de stoel.
WAARSCHUWING! De positioneringsriem dient te allen tijde te worden vastgemaakt.
Laat de positioneringsriem nooit los hangen of over de vloer slepen waardoor de riem
verstrikt zou kunnen raken.
Het installeren van de veiligheidsriem (indien vereist):
1. Verwijder de stoel van uw Scootmobiel.
2. Plaats de stoel ondersteboven zodat u de onderzijde vanuw stoel kunt zien. Zie figuur 13.
3. Verwijder de bouten aan de buitenzijde van de zitting-bevestigingsplaat aan de achterzijde van de
stoel.
4. Voer de bouten door het daarvoor bestemde gat in deuiteinden van de veiligheidsriem en plaats de
bouten vervolgens weer terug in hun gaten in de zitting-bevestigingsplaat.
5. Draai de bouten goed aan.
Het aanpassen van de veiligheidsriem:
1. Leg de twee kanten van de riem op elkaar met de kant met de lussen recht boven de ruwe kant ("haak")
van de andere band. Stevig op elkaar drukken om te bevestigen. Zie figuur 14.
De plaatsingsgordel losmaken:
1. Pak de kant van de riem met de lussen vast en trek deze omhoog om hem los te maken van de andere
kant van de riem.
VERPLICHT! Zorg er voor ieder gebruikvoor dat de veiligheidsgordel correct isbevestigd
aan de elektrische Scootmobielen dat hij comfortabel is afgesteld voorde gebruiker.
VERPLICHT! Inspecteer de veiligheidsriem op losse onderdelen of beschadiging,
inclusief scheuren, versleten plekken, verbogen onderdelen, beschadigde
gespmechanismen, vuil of restanten, voorafgaand aan ieder gebruik van de scootmobiel.
Als u een probleem ontdekt, neem dan contact op met uw bevoegde leverancier voor
onderhoud en reparatie.
