VOORDAT U OP UW SCOOTMOBIEL STAPT
Heeft u uw accu's volledig opgeladen? Zie III. “Accu's en het Laden.”
Is de handmatige vrijloophendel in de rijpositie (naar achteren)? Laat de handmatige vrijloophendel nooit
in de vrijloop positie (naar voren) staan tenzij u de scootmobiel handmatig aan het voortbewegen bent.
Is de stuurkolom ontgrendeld? Zie VI. “Demontage en montage.”
Controleer of de aan-uit-schakelaar zich in de 'UIT'-stand (middelste stand) bevindt. Zie figuur 1.
HET OPSTAPPEN OP UW SCOOTMOBIEL
1. Ga naast uw scootmobiel staan.
WAARSCHUWING! Probeer nooit op de scootmobiel te stappen of ervan af te stappen,
zonder de scootmobiel eerst uit te schakelen. Dit voorkomt dat de scootmobiel in
beweging komt wanneer per ongeluk de gashendel wordt aangeraakt.
2. De armleuningen kunnen ook naar boven draaien om in en uit de scootmobiel stappen makkelijker te
maken.
3. Laat de hendel los en zorg dat de stoel weer vast in positie wordt vergrendeld.
4. Ga prettig en stevig in de stoel zitten.
5. Zet uw voeten veilig op de bodem van de scootmobiel.
VOORZORG EN CONTROLE
Is de stoel goed vastgezet?
Is uw voorgestelde route vrij van mensen, dieren en hindernissen?
Heeft u uw route zo gepland dat u zoveel mogelijk slecht terrein en hellingen vermijdt?
BEDIENING VAN UW SCOOTMOBIEL
WAARSCHUWING! De volgende punten kunnen sturen en stabiliteit advers beinvloeden
terwijl u uw scootmobiel rijdt:
Vast houden aan of vast maken van een riem om uw huisdier te lopen.
Dragen van passagiers (inclusief huisdieren).
Enige artikellen van de helmstok hangen.
Trekken of worden geduwd door een ander gemotoriseerd voertuig.
WAARSCHUWING! Houd allebei de handen aan het stuur en uw voeten te allen tijde op de
vloerplaat terwijl u de scootmobiel beweegt. Deze rij positie geeft u de meeste controle
over het voertuig.
Zet de aan-uit-schakelaar naar rechts (hoge snelheid) of naar links (lage snelheid).
Trek aan de betreffende zijde van de gascontrole hendel.
De elektromagnetische rem wordt automatisch ontkoppeld en de scootmobiel accelereert soepel naar
de snelheid die u van te voren heft ingesteld.
Trek aan de linker handgreep om linksaf te gaan.
Trek aan de rechter handgreep om rechtsaf te gaan.
Beweeg het stuur naar de middenpositie om rechtdoor te gaan.
Laat de gashendel langzaam los om volledig tot stilstand te komen. De elektromechanische rem zal
automatisch in werking treden als uw scootmobiel tot stilstand komt.
LET OP: De snelheid tijdens het achteruit rijden is lager dan de snelheid tijdens vooruit rijden.
