V. OPTIMIZAR EL CONFORT
AJUSTE DEL ÁNGULO DEL MANILLAR (fi g. 23)
¡ADVERTENCIA! Saque la llave de la cerradura de contacto
antes de ajustar el manillar o el asiento. Nunca intente ajustar
el manillar o el asiento con el Travel Scooter en movimiento.
¡ADVERTENCIA! Antes de operar el scooter, presione y jale
el manillar para garantizar que el mecanismo de ajuste
del ángulo esté seguro. Inspeccione el pomo de ajuste del
manillar y el mecanismo de ajuste del ángulo para garantizar
que estén completamente acoplados. Si ha movimiento en
el manillar, contrólelo para asegurarse de que el pomo de
ajuste del manillar esté completamente ajustado.
NOTA: Para poder bajar la caña del manillar al piso del Travel Scooter,
deberá quitar en primer lugar el asiento y el paquete de baterías. Para
quitar el asiento del Travel Scooter, tire de él hacia arriba en línea recta.
AJUSTE DE LA POSICIÓN DEL ASIENTO (ROTACIÓN)
La palanca de rotación, ubicada en el lateral derecho de la base del asiento,
ajusta el asiento en varias posiciones (fi g. 24).
1. Tire hacia arriba de la palanca de bloqueo para desbloquear el asiento.
2. Gire el asiento hasta la posición deseada.
3. Suelte la palanca de bloqueo para que el asiento recupere su sitio.
ANCHURA DE LOS REPOSABRAZOS
La anchura de los reposabrazos puede reducirse o ampliarse.
1. Afl oje los pomos de ajuste de los reposabrazos (fi g. 24).
2. Con la anilla, tire y extraiga las arandelas de anclaje.
3. Deslice los brazos hacia el interior o exterior hasta conseguir la anchura
deseada.
4. Alinee los orifi cios de ajuste en la estructura del asiento y los
reposabrazos y vuelva a colocar las arandelas de anclaje.
5. Vuelva a apretar los pomos de ajuste.
NOTA: Levante los reposabrazos de forma que pueda subir y bajar más
fácilmente del Travel Scooter.
AJUSTE DE LA ALTURA DEL ASIENTO
El asiento puede colocarse a diferentes alturas (fi g. 25).
1. Extraiga el asiento y el paquete baterías del Travel Scooter.
2. Tire de la anilla para sacar la arandela de anclaje en la parte inferior de
la torre del asiento.
3. Suba o baje la parte superior de la torre del asiento hasta lograr la altura
deseada.
4. Sujetando la parte superior de la torre a esa altura, haga coincidir los
orifi cios de ajuste en la parte superior e inferior de la torre.
5. Coloque la arandela de anclaje.
6. Coloque de nuevo el paquete de baterías y el asiento.
NOTA: Si está equipado, la característica de almacenamiento debajo
del asiento debe ser removida para obtener una altura de asiento de
16.5 pulgadas (41.9 cm) o menos. Consulte “Almacenamiento debajo el
asiento” para obtener más información.
