III. BATERÍAS Y SU CARGA
¿Cómo se cambian las baterías de mi Travel Scooter?
¡OBLIGATORIO! Los bornes, terminales de batería y otros accesorios contienen
compuestos de plomo. Durante la manipulación, póngase gafas y guantes, y lávese
las manos después.
¡PROHIBIDO! Use siempre dos baterías que sean idénticas, del mismo tipo, composición
química y capacidad nominal (Ah). Consulte el cuadro de especifi caciones de este
manual y del manual suministrado con el cargador para saber el tipo de batería
recomendado y su capacidad nominal.
¡ADVERTENCIA! No mezcle baterías viejas y nuevas. Cambie siempre ambas baterías
al mismo tiempo.
¡ADVERTENCIA! Si tiene alguna duda acerca de las baterías de su Travel Scooter, no
dude en contactar con su proveedor autorizado.
¡ADVERTENCIA! No manipule las baterías con el asiento ocupado.
¡ADVERTENCIA! Las baterías de su Travel Scooter únicamente podrán ser mantenidas
o reemplazadas por un proveedor autorizado o un técnico cualifi cado.
¡PROHIBIDO! Evite el contacto de heraimientas y otros objetos metalicos con los
terminales de batería. El contacto con herramientas puede producir descargas eléctricas.
Para cambiar las baterías, necesitará las siguientes herramientas:
llaves de tubo con trinquete estándar y métricas
llave inglesa
destornillador
¡ADVERTENCIA! No levante pesos por encima de sus capacidades físicas. En caso necesario,
pida ayuda para montar o desmontar el Travel Scooter.
¡ADVERTENCIA! No tire directamente de los cables eléctricos para desconectarlos del Travel
Scooter. Sujete siempre por el conector del cable para evitar cualquier daño a la hora de
desenganchar los cables.
Para cambiar las baterías Paquete de Batterìas Estilo A (fi g.9):
1. Extraiga el paquete de baterías del Travel Scooter.
2. Con cuidado, dé la vuelta al paquete.
3. Quite los tornillos del perímetro del paquete de baterías.
4. Con cuidado, vuelva a dar la vuelta al paquete y retire la tapa.
¡ADVERTENCIA! Para evitar confusiones al cambiar las
pilas, reemplace las baterías a la vez.
5. Desconecte los cables de batería negro (-) y rojo (+) de los bornes de la
primera batería.
6. Extraiga las batería vieja.
7. Coloque las nuevas batería en el paquete.
8. Conecte el cable rojo de batería al borne positivo (+) de los bornes de
la primera batería.
9. Conecte el cable negro de batería al borne negativo (-) de los bornes de
la primera batería.
10. Repita los pasos 5 a 9 para la otra batería.
11. Coloque de nuevo la tapa del paquete de baterías, verifi cando que todos
los cables queden dentro del paquetey no puedan ser pinzados.
12. Con cuidado, dé la vuelta al paquete.
13. Vuelva a colocar todos los tornillos y apriete.
