Unplug tool before changing blade, servicing or not in use.
Some dust created from operation contains chemicals known to cause cancer, birth
defects or other reproductive harm. Some examples of these chemicals are:
lead from lead-based-painted material and,
arsenic and chromium from chemically treated lumber.
Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you do this type of work. To
reduce your exposure to these chemicals: work in well ventilated area and work with approved
safety equipment, such as those dust masks that are specially designed to filter out
microscopic particles.
Connect the tool to a dust-collecting device when sawing.
Make sure that the table is correctly fixed with the lever after turning it over.
Warning! Use the saw only when the guards are in the designated position, particularly
after changing the sawing mode. Keep the guards in good working order.
Replace a worn table insert.
Saw blades designed for working wood must comply with EN 847-1.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as:
ear protection to reduce the risk of becoming hard of hearing
safety goggles
respiratory protection to reduce the risk of inhaling harmful dust
gloves, when handling saw blades and rough materials (it is recommended to carry saw
blades in a container, whenever practicable)
Put the push stick in its holder when not in use.
Warning! Never use guards for lifting and transportation.
Turn off the saw before leaving the work area.
Make sure that the speed indicated on the saw blade is not less than the speed indicated
on the saw.
Make sure that you only use spacers and spindle rings that are suitable for the purpose
specified by the manufacturer.
Make sure that the upper part of the saw blade is completely enclosed when in mitre saw
mode.
When in table saw mode, use the riving knife and set it up correctly.
Warning! The machine must not be used for slotting (insert grooves).
During transportation, the upper part of the saw blade must be covered, for example, by
the top blade guard, or the saw blade must be placed in its lowest position.
Make sure that the machine is secured before each sawing operation.
If necessary, secure the machine to a work bench or the like.
If necessary, support long workpieces with appropriate additional supporting devices.
6.2 When using in Mitre saw mode:
Do not use the saw to cut other than wood, aluminum or similar materials.
Do not perform operation freehand when cutting workpiece in an area close to saw blade.
The workpiece must be secured firmly against the turn table and guide fence during all
operations.
Make sure that the turn table is properly secured so it will not move during operation.
Make sure that the arm is securely fixed when beveling. Tighten the lever clockwise to fix
the arm.
Make sure the blade does not contact the turn table in the lowest position and is not
contacting the workpiece before the switch is turned on.
Hold the handle firmly. Be aware that the saw moves up or down slightly during start-up
and stopping.
6.3 When using in the table saw (bench saw) mode:
Do not perform any operation freehand. Freehand means using your hands to support or
guide the workpiece, in lieu of rip fence.
