9 ASSEMBLY
WARNING: Switch off and remove battery from machine before adjusting or
cleaning!
9.1 Attaching the auxiliary handle (Fig.3)
Align the auxiliary handle (2) with the hole on head shell, then tighten the lock screw by using
the hex key to secure the handle (2).
9.2 Mounting saw blade (Fig.4)
Always be sure that the tool is switched off and the battery pack is removed before carrying
out any work on the tool.
▪ To remove the blade, loosen the clamp screw (23) using the hex key (21) and open the
blade cover.
▪ Push the spindle lock (4) and loosen the lock nut (24) using the spanner (22). Remove the
outer flange (25) and the blade.
▪ To install the blade, first mount the inner flange. Then mount the blade, outer flange (25)
and the lock nut (24).
▪ Securely tighten the lock nut (24) using the spanner (22).
▪ Close the blade cover and tighten the clamp screw (23) using the hex key (21) to secure
the blade cover.
Make sure that the top of the base plate is securely closed before operating
the machine.
9.3 Mounting dust bag
For dust extraction the dust bag can be used. Insert the dust bag (15) into the vacuuming
connection (14). Empty the dusts bag regularly so that the vacuuming performance remains
intact.
9.4 Attaching the plate protection
The plate protection needs to be attached to the angle stop prior to use. For easier assembly,
set the angle stop (5) into the 90° position. Slide the plate protection (17) onto the angle stop
with the plastic locating arms positioned over the top, and the plastic face being located
underneath.
9.5 Adjusting the depth of the groove (Fig. 5)
▪ 6 grooving depths can be preset according to the size of biscuit to be used.
▪ Refer to the table below for the correspondence between the sizes marked on the cutting
depth adjustment knob (7) and the biscuit size. Fine adjustments to the grooving depth
can be made by turning the adjusting screw (8) after loosening the hex nut. This may
become necessary after the blade has been resharpened a few times.
9.6 Fence (Fig.6)
▪ Remove the angle gauge (5) according to the need of your work when using the tool with
the angle of the fence adjusted to other than 0°. When you need to use the angle gauge
(5) under the above condition, be sure to adjust the depth of groove to get a proper depth.
▪ The angle of the fence (18) can be adjusted between 0° and 90° (positive stops at 0°, 45°
