1 INTENDED USE
A soldering iron is a hand tool most commonly used in soldering. It supplies heat to melt the
solder so that it can flow into the joint between two workpieces.
Soldering irons are most often used for installation, repairs and limited production work. High-
volume production lines use other soldering methods.
WARNING! Read this manual and general safety instructions carefully
before using the appliance, for your own safety. Your power tool should
only be passed on together with these instructions.

3 PACKAGE CONTENT LIST
▪ Remove all packaging materials.
▪ Remove remaining packing and package inserts (if included).
▪ Check that the package contents are complete.
▪ Check the appliance, the power cord, the power plug and all accessories for transportation
damage.
▪ Keep the packing materials as far as possible till the end of the warranty period. Dispose it
into your local waste disposal system afterwards.
WARNING: Packaging materials are not toys! Children must not play with
plastic bags! Danger of suffocation!
