Bag chamber
The section at the top of the
machine where the premix bag is
inserted. The chamber may be
accessed by opening the lid on
the top of the machine.
Batter
The bag of pancake premix after
water has been added
Belt
Two Teflon® coated belts
positioned over the cooking
plates that rotate during
operation and transport the
pancakes through the machine.
Burping
The release of the naturally
produced gasses caused during
the mixing procedure when
making the batter affects the size
of the pancakes. This is caused
by adding cold water to the
premix instead of water at room
temperature.
Machine commissioning
The proper installation of the
Popcake™ machine and sign off
by the manufacturer authorised
distributor and the customer.
End User Operator
A person who has been
thoroughly trained in the use of
the machine by the manufacturer
authorised distributor.
Premix
A specially developed powder
made exclusively for the machine
manufacturer for use in
machines. Premix is supplied in
double lined clear plastic bags
fitted with caps with lids.
Splash guard
Found in the bag chamber, a
stainless steel piece with a hole
in the middle, which can be
easily removed and cleaned if
the batter splashes on the guard.
Ventilation openings
Slits at the side of the machine to
allow air flow through the
machine.
Water temperature
Water added to the premix bags
must be at room temperature.
