GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT ULTRASOUND HUMIDIFIER
In order to umidify a room we generally use a heater sinked into water
generating vapour in the environment when boiling.
Such system is easy but there are several disadvantages, such as.
•Vapour fastly condensates and is turned into water by the generator
•“Warm” vapour changes room temperature
• Electrical consumption is fairly high
An alternative system must to be found in ultrasound generators using
a piezoelectric transducer.
Putting such a device into water, and having it vibrating at a vert high
frequency (up to a maximum of 2 million oscillations per second), it cau-
ses a very thin atomization of water generating “cold” vapour which
will be sprayed into the environment by a fan.
This system has several advantages, such as:
• vapour is pushed away and it does not change its state and it mixes
with air.
•room temperature does not change
• Electrical consumption is low (30 Watt~).
SUGGESTIONS
Water contains minerals, such as: calcium, magnesium etc., they can
fall on your furniture or tv-set and set as a white dust. Wipe it with a
cloth. Put distilled water inside the humidifier if the amount of dust is too
big.
Water filter: In areas where there is a high concentration of calcium
in the water, the use of the demineralisating filter is suggested. Not only
does it purifiy the water of calcium, but it also protects the internal
mechanisms.
Air filter: It is suggested that air filters be substituted after 1000 hours
(2 months) of use.
