1. Set the thermostat to position 7.
2. Now let the empty appliance operate for 2 hours.
3. Then set the thermostat to position 4 NORMAL. You can store food in the
appliance now.
4. In case of high outdoor temperatures (e.g. hot summer days) select position 5-7
to set a lower temperature.
5. If you choose a low temperature and some rime is generated at the back of the
appliance, we recommend to select a higher temperature.
6. Adept the temperature setting to the outdoor temperature.
7. If you have disconnected the appliance from the energy supply, wait 3-5
minutes before you restart the appliance. Otherwise the appliance can be
damaged.
8. The setting definitions represent standard values only.
4.3 Operational parameters
1. The appliance can only reach the relevant temperatures when:
a. the a ambient temperature meets the climatic class.
b. the doors close properly.
c. you do not open the doors too often or too long.
d. the door seals are in proper condition.
e. the appliance is properly positioned.
f. you have not overfilled the appliance.
g. you do not store warm or hot food in the appliance.
2. When the ambient temperature is very high, it is recommended to set the
thermostat to a colder setting if needed. If the colder setting should cause strong
formation of encrusted ice, please select a lower setting.
3. High ambient temperatures and simultaneously operating at the coldest setting
may make the compressor operate permanently to keep the temperature
constant inside the appliance.
4.4 Helpful hints/energy saving
Cooked food can be stored in the appliance. Let it cool down to room
temperature before you put it into your appliance.
Store your food in colourless, airtight and tasteless materials.
Some food like meat, fish etc. may become dry and release strong odours. You
