Digitale audiobronnen aansluiten
De receiver beschikt over zowel digitale ingangen
als uitgangen, zodat u digitale audioapparatuur kunt
aansluiten voor afspelen en voor het maken van
digitale opnamen.
De meeste digitale apparatuur heeft ook analoge
aansluitingen. Zie Analoge audiobronnen aansluiten
op de volgende bladzijde als u deze ook wilt aansluiten.
1 Sluit een optische digitale audio-uitgang

op het
digitale apparaat aan op de ingang DIGITAL 4 (CD-R).
Gebruik hiervoor een optische kabel.
2 Sluit voor opname-apparatuur een van de optische
DIGITAL-uitgangen aan op een digitale ingang van
de recorder.
Gebruik een optische kabel voor de aansluiting op de
uitgang DIGITAL OUT1 of (alleen voor de VSX-AX4AVi)
OUT2 (OUT1 wordt weergegeven in de afbeelding).

Het apparaat beschikt over een ingebouwde Windows
Media
®
Audio 9 Professional

-decoder (WMA9 Pro).
Deze maakt het mogelijk om audio die is gecodeerd
met WMA9 Pro af te spelen met een coaxiale of
optische digitale aansluiting bij aansluiting op een
afspeelapparaat dat geschikt is voor WMA9 Pro. De
aangesloten PC, DVD-speler, set-top box en dergelijke
moet wel audio-signalen met de WMA9 Pro-indeling
kunnen voortbrengen via een coaxiale of optische
digitale uitgang.

Opmerking
1 • Als het digitale apparaat alleen beschikt over een coaxiale digitale uitgang, kunt u deze aansluiten op een van de coaxiale ingangen van de receiver
met behulp van een coaxiale kabel. Wanneer u de receiver instelt, moet u opgeven op welke ingang het apparaat is aangesloten (zie Het menu Input Setup
op bladzijde 60).
• De digitale uitgangen van andere apparaten kunnen worden aangesloten op eventuele overgebleven ingangen voor digitale audio van de receiver.
U kunt deze toewijzen als u de receiver instelt (zie ook Het menu Input Setup op bladzijde 60).
2• U moet ROOM 3 ON inschakelen in Bediening voor meerdere ruimten gebruiken op bladzijde 56 als u audio wilt beluisteren van de DIGITAL OUT1.
• Voor het opnemen van bepaalde digitale bronnen moet u analoge aansluitingen tot stand brengen, zoals wordt beschreven in Analoge audiobronnen
aansluiten hieronder.
3 • Microsoft, Windows Media
®
en het Windows-logo zijn merken of gedeponeerde merken van Microsoft Corporation in de Verenigde Staten en/of
andere landen.
• Er kunnen geluidsproblemen optreden bij WMA9 Pro afhankelijk van het computersysteem. Houd er rekening mee dat WMA9 Pro 96kHz-bronnen
worden gedownsampled naar 48kHz.
