Miscellaneous information
• The minimum recordable time is four seconds. Even if you
try and record something shorter than this, the track that
the recorder creates will be four seconds.
• Usually, track numbers are recorded onto the disc
automatically when recording. If you decide to switch off
this feature (for example, when you’re recording from a
satellite broadcast), be sure to input track markers as
recording is taking place—you can’t add them after
recording is complete. See page 30 for more on manual and
automatic track numbering.
• The maximum number of tracks on a disc is 99.
Pannes d’électricité
Ne mettez jamais cet enregistreur hors tension pendant
l’enregistrement, ou pendant l’affichage de PMA REC (Program
Memory Area Recording). En cas de panne de courant, ou si vous
avez accidentellement déconnecté le cordon d’alimentation de la
prise murale alors que l’enregistrement était en cours, vous perdrez
au moins une partie de l’enregistrement. Au rétablissement du
courant, l’enregistreur indiquera le message RESUME jusqu’à la
fin de l’enregistrement PMA.
Après l’enregistrement, retirez toujours le disque de l’enregistreur
avant de mettre l’appareil hors tension. Sinon vous pourriez perdre
un peu des matériaux enregistrés sur le disque.
Informations diverses
• Le temps minimum enregistrable est de quatre secondes.
Même si vous essayez d’enregistrer quelque chose de plus
court, la plage ainsi créée aura quatre secondes.
• Ordinairement, les numéros de plage sont
automatiquement enregistrés sur le disque à
l’enregistrement. Si vous décidez de mettre hors tension
cette fonction (par exemple, à l’enregistrement d’émissions
transmises par satellite), n’oubliez pas d’entrer des marques
de plage pendant l’enregistrement—vous ne pouvez pas les
ajouter une fois l’enregistrement terminé. Voir la page 30
pour plus d’informations sur la numérotation manuelle et
automatique des plages.

Power interruptions
Never switch off this recorder while it's recording, or while the
display shows PMA REC (Program Memory Area Recording). If
there's a power failure, or you accidently disconnect the power from
the wall outlet while recording is in process, you'll lose at least part
of the recording. When power is restored, the recorder will show the
message RESUME until it's finished recording the PMA.
After recording, always remove the disc from the recorder before
switching the power off. Failure to do this could result in you losing
some of the recorded material on the disc.
