PUT BATTERIES INTO THE REMOTE
CONTROL UNIT (PD-M426A only)

Open the cover of the battery compartment on the rear of the
remote control unit, and insert the batteries ( size “AAA” (IEC
R03)), taking care to align the ª and · polarities correctly.
NOTES:
÷
In order to prevent battery leakage, remove the batteries
when not using the remote control unit for an extended
period (one month or more). If leakage occurs, carefully
wipe away any battery fluid inside the compartment, and
replace the batteries with new ones.
÷
Do not allow books or other objects to rest on top of the
remote control unit, since the buttons may be depressed,
causing faster exhaustion of the batteries.
Incorrect use of batteries may cause leakage or rupture.
Always be sure to follow these guidelines:
A. Always insert batteries into the battery compartment
correctly matching the positive ª and negative
·polarities, as shown by the display inside the
compartment.
B. Never mix new and used batteries.
C. Batteries of the same size may have different voltages,
depending on brand. Do not mix different brands of
batteries.

Ouvir le couvercle du compartiment des piles à l’arrière de la
télécommande et insérer les piles (taille “AAA” (IEC R03)) en
respectant la polarité ª et ·.
REMARQUES :
÷
Pour éviter une fuite des piles, les retirer si vous n´avez pas
l’intention d’utiliser la télécommande pendant longtemps
(un mois ou plus). Dans le cas d’une fuite, essuyer soig-
neusement le fluide des piles dans le compartiment et
remplacer les piles par des neuves.
÷
Ne pas poser des livres ou autres objets sur la
télécom-mande car des touches peuvent être pressées,
ce qui provoque une usure accélérée des piles.
Une utilisation incorrecte des piles peut provoquer une fuite ou
une rupture.
Toujours suivre ces instructions:
A. Toujours insérer correctement les piles dans le compartiment
en respectant les polarités positive ª et négative ·,
comme indiqué dans le compartiment.
B. Ne jamais mélanger des piles neuves et usagées.
C. Des piles de même taille peuvent être de tension différente
selon leur marque. Ne pas mélanger des piles de marques
différentes.
