Before connecting/

installing the amplifier

WARNING

! The use of a special red battery and ground

wire RD-223, available separately, is recom-

mended. Connect the battery wire directly to

the car battery positive terminal + and the

ground wire to the car body.

! This unit is for vehicles with a 12 V battery and

negative grounding. Before installing in re-

creational vehicles, trucks or buses, check the

battery voltage.

! Always use a fuse of the rating prescribed.

The use of an improper fuse could result in

overheating and smoke, damage to the pro-

duct and injury, including burns.

! Check the connections of the power supply

and speakers if the fuse of the separately sold

battery wire or the amplifier fuse blows. Deter-

mine and resolve the cause, then replace the

fuse with and identical equivalent.

! Do not allow this unit to come into contact

with liquids. Electrical shock could result.

Also, damage to this unit, smoke, and over-

heating could result from contact with liquids.

The surfaces of the amplifier and any attached

speakers may also heat up and cause minor

burns.

Section

Before you start

! In the event of any abnormality, the power

supply to the amplifier is cut off to prevent

equipment malfunction. If this occurs, switch

the system power off and check the power

supply and speaker connections. If you are un-

able to determine the cause, please contact

your dealer.

! Always disconnect the negative * terminal of

the battery beforehand to avoid the risk of

electric shock or short circuit during installa-

tion.

CAUTION

! Always keep the volume low enough to hear

outside sounds.

! Extended use of the car stereo while the en-

gine is at rest or idling may exhaust the bat-

tery.

About the Protection function

The Protection function will operate in the condi-

tions outlined below. If the Protection function is

turned on, the power indicator will turn off, and

the amplifier will shut down.

! If the speaker output terminal and speaker

wire is short-circuited.

! If the temperature inside the amplifier gets too

high.

! If a DC voltage is applied to the speaker out-

put terminal.

To adjust the switch, use a flathead screwdri-

ver if needed.

1 LPF (low-pass filter) switch

Switch the settings based on the connected

speaker.

! When the Subwoofer is connected:

Select ON. This eliminates high range

frequency and outputs low range fre-

quency.

! When the full range speaker is con-

nected:

Select OFF. OFF outputs the entire fre-

quency range.

2 FREQ (cut off frequency) control

Cut off frequency selectable from 40 Hz to

500 Hz if the LPF select switch is set to ON.

3 BASS BOOST (bass boost level control)

You can select a bass boost level from 0 dB,

6 dB and 12 dB.

4 GAIN (gain) control

If output remains low, even when the car

stereo volume is turned up, turn controls to

lower level. If distortion occurs when the car

stereo volume is turned up, turn these con-

trols to higher level.

! For use with an RCA equipped car stereo

(standard output of 500 mV), set to the

NORMAL position. For use with an RCA

equipped Pioneer car stereo, with max.

output of 4 V or more, adjust level to

match that of the car stereo output.

! If you hear too much noise when using

the speaker input terminals, turn the

gain control to higher level.

5 Power indicator

The power indicator lights up to indicate

power ON.

Setting gain properly

! Protective function included to prevent

malfunction of the unit and/or speakers

due to excessive output, improper use or

improper connection.

! When outputting high volume sound etc.,

this function cuts off the output for a few

seconds as a normal function, but output

is restored when the volume of the head

unit is turned down.

! A cut in sound output may indicate impro-

per setting of the gain control. To ensure

continuous sound output with the head

unit at a high volume, set amplifier gain

control to a level appropriate for the preout

maximum output level of the head unit, so

that volume can remain unchanged and to

control excess output.

! Despite correct volume and gain settings,

the unit sound still cuts out periodically. In

such cases, please contact the nearest

authorized Pioneer Service Station.

Relationship between amplifier gain

and head unit output power

If amplifier gain is raised improperly, this will

simply increase distortion, with little increase

in power.

Signal waveform when outputting at

high volume using amplifier gain

Signal waveform distorted with high output, if

you raise the gain of the amplifier the power

changes only slightly.

Connection diagram

1 Special red battery wire

RD-223 (sold separately)

After completing all other amplifier connec-

tions, finally connect the battery wire terminal

of the amplifier to the positive (+) battery

terminal.

2 Ground wire (Black)

Connect to metal body or chassis.

3 Car stereo with RCA output jacks (sold sepa-

rately)

Connect male terminal of this wire to the sys-

tem remote control terminal of the car stereo.

The female terminal can be connected to the

auto-antenna relay control terminal. If the car

stereo lacks a system remote control terminal,

connect the male terminal to the power term-

inal via the ignition switch.

connection instructions. Refer to Connections

when using the speaker input wire on page 8.

Before connecting the

amplifier

WARNING

! Secure the wiring with cable clamps or adhe-

sive tape. To protect the wiring, wrap sections

in contact with metal parts in adhesive tape.

! Never cut the insulation of the power supply

to feed power to other equipment. Current ca-

pacity of the wire is limited.

CAUTION

! Never shorten any wires, the protection circuit

may malfunction.

! Never ground speaker wire directly or band to-

gether multiple speakers’ negative (*) lead

wires.

! If the system remote control wire of the ampli-

fier is connected to the power terminal via the

ignition switch (12 V DC), the amplifier will re-

main on with the ignition whether the car

stereo is on or off, which may exhaust battery

if the engine is at rest or idling.

! Install and route the separately sold battery

wire as far as possible from the speaker wires.

Install and route the separately sold battery

wire, ground wire, speaker wires and the am-

plifier as far away as possible from the anten-

na, antenna cable and tuner.

About bridged mode

Speaker impedance is max. 4 W, please carefully

check. Improper connection to the amplifier may

result in malfunction or personal injury due to

burns from overheating.

For bridged mode for a two-channel amplifier,

with a 4 W load, either wire two 8 W speakers in

parallel, Left + and Right * (Diagram A) or use a

single 4 W speaker. For other amplifiers, please

follow the speaker output connection diagram for

bridging shown on rear: two 8 W speakers in par-

allel for a 4 W load or a single 4 W speaker per

channel.

About suitable

specification of speaker

Ensure speakers conform to the following

standards, otherwise there is a risk of fire,

smoke or damage. Speaker impedance is 2 W

to 8 W for stereo connection, or 4 W to 8 W for

monaural and other bridge connection.

Connecting the speakers

The speaker output mode can be two-channel

(stereo) or one-channel (mono). Connect the

speaker leads to suit the mode according to

the figures shown below.

to the amplifier using the supplied speaker

input wire.

! Do not connect both the RCA input and the

speaker input at the same time.

The use of a special red battery and ground

WARNING

If the battery wire is not securely fixed to the term-

inal using the terminal screws, there is a risk of

overheating, malfunction and injury, including

minor burns.

of the amplifier to the positive (+) battery

5 Insert the O-ring rubber grommet into the

vehicle body.

1 Use wire cutters or a utility knife to

strip the end of the speaker wires to ex-

pose about 10 mm of wire and then twist

the wire.

Connecting the units

Before installing the amplifier

WARNING

! To ensure proper installation, use the supplied

parts in the manner specified. If any parts

other than those supplied are used, they may

damage internal parts of the amplifier, or be-

come loose causing the amplifier to shut

down.

! Do not install in:

— Places where it could injure the driver or

passengers if the vehicle stops suddenly.

— Places where it may interfere with the dri-

ver, such as on the floor in front of the dri-

ver’s seat.

! Install tapping screws in such a way that the

screw tip does not touch any wire. This is im-

portant to prevent wires from being cut by vi-

bration of the car, which can result in fire.

! Make sure that wires do not get caught in the

sliding mechanism of the seats or touch the

legs of a person in the vehicle as short-circuit

may result.

! When drilling to install the amplifier, always

confirm no parts are behind the panel and

protect all cables and important equipment (e.

g. fuel/brake lines, wiring) from damage.

CAUTION

! To ensure proper heat dissipation of the ampli-

fier, ensure the following during installation:

— Allow adequate space above the amplifier

for proper ventilation.

— Do not cover the amplifier with a floor mat

or carpet.

! Protection function may activate to protect the

amplifier against overheating due to installa-

tion in locations where sufficient heat cannot

be dissipated, continuous use under high-vo-

lume conditions, etc. In such cases, the am-

plifier shuts down until it has cooled to a

certain designated temperature.

! Avoid routing wires through hot areas, such

as near the heater outlet. Heat may damage

the insulation, resulting in a short-circuit

through the vehicle body.

! The optimal installation location differs de-

pending on the car model. Secure the ampli-

fier at a sufficiently rigid location.

! Firstly make temporary connections and

check to ensure the amplifier and system op-

erate properly.

! After installing the amplifier, confirm that the

spare tire, jack and tools can be easily re-

moved.

Example of installation on

the floor mat or chassis

1 Place the amplifier in the desired instal-

lation location.

Insert the supplied tapping screws (4 mm ×

18 mm) into the screw holes and push on the

screws with a screwdriver so they make an im-

print where the installation holes are to be lo-

cated.

2 Drill 2.5 mm diameter holes at the im-

prints either on the carpet or directly on

the chassis.

3 Install the amplifier with the use of

supplied tapping screws (4 mm × 18 mm).

Avant de connecter/

ATTENTION

! L’utilisation d’un fil de terre RD-223 et d’un fil

! Cet appareil est utilisable sur des véhicules

équipés d’une batterie 12V avec mise à la

masse du négatif. Vérifiez la tension de la bat-

terie avant l’installation dans des véhicules de

caravaning, des camions ou des bus.

! Utilisez toujours un fusible correspondant aux

caractéristiques spécifiées. L’utilisation d’un

fusible incorrect peut entraîner une sur-

chauffe et de la fumée, des dommages au ni-

veau du produit et des blessures, incluant des

brûlures.

! Vérifiez les connexions de l’alimentation et

des haut-parleurs en cas de rupture du fusible

du fil de batterie vendu séparément ou de

l’amplificateur. Déterminez la cause et résol-

vez le problème, puis remplacez le fusible par

un fusible identique.

Avant de commencer

! Ne laissez pas cet appareil entrer en contact

avec des liquides. Cela pourrait provoquer une

électrocution. Tout contact avec des liquides

pourrait aussi provoquer des dommages, de

la fumée et une surchauffe de l’appareil.

Les surfaces de l’amplificateur et des haut-

parleurs connectés peuvent également chauf-

de l’amplificateur est coupée de manière à évi-

ter tout dysfonctionnement de l’équipement.

Dans ce cas, coupez l’alimentation du sys-

tème et vérifiez les connexions de l’alimenta-

tion et des haut-parleurs. Si vous n’êtes pas

en mesure de déterminer la cause, veuillez

contacter votre revendeur.

! Déconnectez toujours la borne négative * de

la batterie préalablement, de manière à éviter

tout risque de choc électrique ou de court-cir-

cuit lors de l’installation.

PRÉCAUTION

! Maintenez le niveau d’écoute à une valeur

telle que vous puissiez entendre les sons pro-

venant de l’extérieur.

! L’utilisation prolongée du système stéréo du

véhicule lorsque le moteur est à l’arrêt ou au

ralenti peut épuiser la batterie.

Quelques mots sur la fonction de

protection

La fonction de protection fonctionnera selon les

conditions indiquées ci-dessous. Si la fonction de

protection est activée, l’indicateur de mise sous

tension s’éteint et l’amplificateur se met hors ser-

vice.

! Si la borne de sortie des haut-parleurs et le fil

du haut-parleur sont en court-circuit.

! Si la température à l’intérieur de l’amplifica-

teur est trop élevée.

! Si une tension CC est appliquée à la borne de

sortie des haut-parleurs.

Si nécessaire, utilisez un tournevis plat pour

régler le commutateur.

1 Commutateur LPF (filtre passe-bas)

Basculez les réglages en fonction du haut-

parleur connecté.

! Lorsque le haut-parleur d’extrêmes gra-

ves est connecté :

Sélectionnez ON. Cela supprime les fré-

quences élevées et émet à basse fré-

quence.

! Lorsque le haut-parleur pleine gamme

est connecté :

Sélectionnez OFF. OFF émet la gamme

de fréquences complète.

2 Commande FREQ (fréquence de cou-

pure)

La fréquence de coupure pouvant être sélec-

tionnée est de 40 Hz à 500 Hz si le commu-

tateur de sélection LFP est réglé sur ON.

3 Commutateur BASS BOOST (commande

du niveau d’accentuation des graves)

Vous pouvez sélectionner le niveau d’accen-

tuation de graves : 0 dB, 6 dB ou 12 dB.

4 Commande GAIN (gain)

Si la sortie reste faible alors que le volume

du système stéréo du véhicule a été aug-

menté, tournez les commandes vers un ni-

veau plus faible. En cas de distorsion lors

de l’augmentation du volume du système

stéréo du véhicule, tournez les commandes

vers un niveau plus élevé.

! Procédez au réglage sur la position

NORMAL pour l’utilisation avec un sys-

tème stéréo de véhicule équipé d’une

sortie RCA (sortie standard de 500mV).

Pour l’utilisation avec un système stéréo

de véhicule Pioneer équipé d’une sortie

RCA, dont la sortie maximale est de 4 V

ou plus, réglez le niveau en fonction de

celui de sortie du système stéréo du véhi-

cule.

! Si la quantité de parasites est trop impor-

tante lors de l’utilisation des bornes d’en-

trée des haut-parleurs, tournez la

commande de gain à un niveau plus

élevé.

5 Indicateur de mise sous tension

L’indicateur de mise sous tension s’allume

pour indiquer la mise sous tension.

Réglage correct du gain

! Fonction de protection incluse pour éviter

tout dysfonctionnement de l’appareil et/ou

des haut-parleurs lié à une sortie excessive

ou à une utilisation ou une connexion in-

correcte.

! Lors de l’émission de sons à haut volume,

etc., cette fonction coupe l’émission pen-

dant quelques secondes. L’émission est ce-

pendant rétablie une fois le volume de

l’appareil central baissé.

! Une coupure de la sortie son peut indiquer

un réglage incorrect de la commande de

gain. Afin de garantir une émission sonore

continue lorsque le volume de l’appareil

central est élevé, réglez la commande de

gain de l’amplificateur à un niveau adapté

au niveau de sortie maximal de la sortie

préamp de l’appareil central de manière à

ce que le volume ne nécessite aucune mo-

dification et à ce que les sorties excessives

soient contrôlées.

! Le son de l’appareil est régulièrement

coupé alors que les réglages du gain et du

volume sont corrects. Dans de tels cas,

veuillez contacter le Centre d’entretien

agréé par Pioneer le plus proche.

Si le gain de l’amplificateur est augmenté de

manière incorrecte, les distorsions augmen-

plificateur effectuées, connectez la borne du

fil de batterie de l’amplificateur à la borne po-

sitive (+) de la batterie.

Connectez la borne mâle du fil à la borne de

la télécommande du système stéréo du véhi-

cule. La borne femelle peut être connectée à

la prise de commande du relais de l’antenne

motorisée. Si le système stéréo du véhicule ne

dispose pas d’une borne de télécommande,

connectez la borne mâle à la borne d’alimen-

tation via le contact d’allumage.

Avant de connecter

l’amplificateur

ATTENTION

! Fixez le câblage avec des serre-fils ou de la

bande adhésive. Pour protéger le câblage, en-

roulez les sections en contact avec des pièces

en métal dans du ruban adhésif.

! Ne découpez jamais l’isolation de l’alimenta-

tion pour alimenter d’autres équipements. La

capacité en courant du fil est limitée.

PRÉCAUTION

! Ne raccourcissez jamais aucun fil, faute de

quoi le circuit de protection risque de fonc-

tionner de manière incorrecte.

! Ne mettez jamais le fil du haut-parleur directe-

ment à la terre et ne regroupez jamais les fils

de sortie négatifs (*) de plusieurs haut-par-

leurs.

Connexion des appareils

! Si le fil de la télécommande du système de

l’amplificateur est connecté à la borne d’ali-

mentation via le contact d’allumage (12 V CC),

l’amplificateur reste sous tension que le sys-

tème stéréo du véhicule soit allumé ou non,

ce qui peut épuiser la batterie lorsque le mo-

teur est à l’arrêt ou au ralenti.

! Installez et positionnez le fil de batterie vendu

séparément aussi loin que possible des fils de

haut-parleurs.

Installez et positionnez le fil de batterie vendu

séparément, le fil de terre, les fils de haut-par-

leurs et l’amplificateur aussi loin que possible

de l’antenne, du câble d’antenne et du

syntoniseur.

À propos du mode ponté

L’impédance des haut-parleurs est de 4W maxi-

mum, veuillez vérifier soigneusement. Une

connexion incorrecte de l’amplificateur peut en-

traîner des anomalies de fonctionnement ou des

blessures liées aux brûlures occasionnées par la

surchauffe.

Pour le mode ponté d’un amplificateur deux ca-

naux avec une charge de 4 W, câblez deux haut-

parleurs de 8W en parallèle, + gauche et * droit

(schéma A) ou utilisez un haut-parleur de 4 W.

Pour les autres amplificateurs, veuillez respecter

le schéma de connexion des sorties de haut-par-

leurs pour le pontage indiqué à l’arrière : deux

haut-parleurs de 8W en parallèle pour une charge

de 4 W ou un seul haut-parleur de 4 W par canal.

adaptée des haut-parleurs

Vérifiez que les haut-parleurs sont conformes

aux normes suivantes, faute de quoi ils pré-

senteront un risque d’incendie, de fumée ou

de dommages. L’impédance des haut-parleurs

est de 2 W à8W pour les connexions stéréo ou

de 4 W à8W pour les connexions pontées mo-

naurales et autres.

Connexion de la borne

d’alimentation

L’utilisation d’un fil de terre RD-223 et d’un fil

de batterie rouge spécial, disponibles séparé-

ment, est recommandée. Connectez le fil de la

batterie directement sur la borne positive +

de la batterie du véhicule et le fil de terre sur

la carrosserie du véhicule.

ATTENTION

Si le fil de la batterie n’est pas fermement fixé à la

borne à l’aide des vis de la borne, des risques de

surchauffe, d’anomalie de fonctionnement et de

blessures, brûlures mineures incluses, existent.

1 Positionnez le fil de la batterie du

compartiment du moteur jusqu’àl’intérieur

du véhicule.

Une fois toutes les autres connexions de l’am-

plificateur effectuées, connectez la borne du

fil de batterie de l’amplificateur à la borne po-

sitive (+) de la batterie.

Avant d’installer

l’amplificateur

ATTENTION

! Afin de garantir une installation correcte, utili-

sez les pièces fournies de la manière indi-

quée. Si vous utilisez des pièces autres que

celles fournies, celles-ci risquent d’endomma-

ger des pièces internes de l’amplificateur ou

peuvent se desserrer, ce qui entraînerait l’arrêt

de l’amplificateur.

! Ne procédez pas à l’installation dans :

— Des emplacements où l’appareil peut bles-

ser le conducteur ou les passagers en cas

d’arrêt soudain du véhicule.

— Des emplacements où l’appareil peut

gêner le conducteur, tels que sur le sol de-

vant le siège du conducteur.

! Installez les vis autotaraudeuses de telle ma-

nière que la pointe des vis n’entre en contact

avec aucun fil. Cela est important pour éviter

toute coupure des fils par les vibrations du vé-

hicule, ce qui pourrait entraîner un incendie.

! Assurez-vous que les fils ne sont pas coincés

dans le mécanisme coulissant des sièges ou

ne touchent pas les jambes d’un passager,

car cela pourrait entraîner un court-circuit.

! Lorsque vous percez pour installer l’amplifica-

teur, vérifiez toujours qu’il n’y a aucune pièce

derrière le panneau et que tous les câbles et

équipements importants (conduites de carbu-

rant/freinage, câblage, par exemple) sont pro-

tégés des dommages.

PRÉCAUTION

! Afin de garantir une dissipation de la chaleur

correcte au niveau de l ’amplificateur, vérifiez

les points suivants lors de l’installation :

— Laissez suffisamment de place au-dessus

de l’amplificateur pour permettre une ven-

tilation correcte.

— Ne couvrez pas l’amplificateur avec un

tapis de sol ou de la moquette.

! La fonction de protection peut s’activer afin de

protéger l’amplificateur contre une surchauffe

causée par une installation dans un emplace-

ment dans lequel la chaleur ne peut pas se

dissiper suffisamment, une utilisation conti-

nue à un volume élevé, etc. Le cas échéant,

l’amplificateur se met hors service jusqu’àce

qu’il se soit refroidi et atteint une certaine

température.

! Ne positionnez pas les fils dans des zones

chaudes, à proximité de la sortie du chauf-

fage, par exemple. La chaleur peut endomma-

ger l’isolation, ce qui entraînerait un court-

circuit au niveau de la carrosserie du véhi-

cule.

! L’emplacement d’installation optimal varie en

fonction du modèle de véhicule. Fixez l’ampli-

ficateur à un emplacement suffisamment ri-

gide.

! Commencez par effectuer des connexions

temporaires, puis vérifiez que l’amplificateur

et le système fonctionnent correctement.

! Une fois l’amplificateur installé, vérifiez que la

roue de secours, le cric et les outils peuvent

facilement être retirés.

1 Placez l’amplificateur à l’emplacement

d’installation souhaité.

Insérez les vis autotaraudeuses fournies (4

mm × 18 mm) dans les trous pour vis et ap-

puyez sur les vis à l’aide d’un tournevis de ma-

nière créer une empreinte de l’emplacement

des trous d’installation.

2 Percez des trous de 2,5 mm de diamètre

au niveau des empreintes, sur le sol ou di-

rectement sur le châssis.

Prima di collegare/

installare l’amplificatore

AVVERTENZA

! Si consiglia di utilizzare un cavo batteria rosso

speciale e un cavo di messa a terra RD-223,

venduti a parte. Collegare il cavo batteria diret-

tamente al terminale positivo della batteria +

e il cavo di messa a terra alla scocca del veico-

lo.

! Questa unità è compatibile con i veicoli dotati

di batteria da 12 V e messa a terra negativa.

Prima di installarla in veicoli per uso privato,

su camion o bus, controllare la tensione della

batteria.

! Utilizzare esclusivamente fusibili della portata

prescritta. L’uso di fusibili non corretti potreb-

be provocare surriscaldamento e emissione di

fumo, danni al prodotto e lesioni personali,

come ustioni.

! Se un fusibile del cavo speciale batteria ven-

duto a parte o dell’amplificatore si brucia, veri-

ficare i collegamenti della sorgente di

alimentazione e degli altoparlanti. Determina-

re e risolvere la causa del problema, quindi so-

stituire il fusibile con un equivalente identico.

Prima di iniziare

! Non lasciare che questa unità entri in contatto

con liquidi, in caso contrario possono verifi-

carsi scosse elettriche. Inoltre, se questa unità

entra in contatto con liquidi, può subire danni

oppure emettere fumo o surriscaldarsi.

Inoltre potrebbero surriscaldarsi le superfici

dell’amplificatore e degli altoparlanti collegati,

con conseguenti pericoli di ustioni.

! In caso di anomalie, l’alimentazione verso

l’amplificatore viene scollegata per impedire

malfunzionamenti del prodotto. In questo

caso, scollegare l’alimentazione dell’intero si-

stema e verificare i collegamenti della sorgen-

te di alimentazione e degli altoparlanti. Se non

si riesce a determinare la causa del problema,

contattare il rivenditore.

! Durante l’installazione, verificare sempre pre-

ventivamente che il terminale negativo della

batteria * sia scollegato, per evitare il rischio

di folgorazione o corto circuito.

ATTENZIONE

! Mantenere sempre il volume basso abbastan-

za da poter udire i suoni provenienti dall’ester-

no.

! L’uso prolungato del car stereo mentre il mo-

tore del veicolo è spento o la marcia è in folle,

potrebbe scaricare la batteria.

Informazioni sulla funzione Protezione

La funzione Protezione funzionerà secondo le

condizioni di seguito riportate. Se si attiva la fun-

zione Protezione, l’indicatore di accensione e

l’amplificatore si spegneranno.

! Il terminale di uscita altoparlanti o il cavo

degli altoparlanti sono in cortocircuito.

! La temperatura all’interno dell’amplificatore è

troppo alta.

! Una tensione CC viene applicata al terminale

di uscita altoparlanti.

Se è necessario regolare la posizione dell’in-

terruttore, utilizzare un cacciavite a testa piat-

ta.

1 Interruttore LPF (filtro passa basso)

Regolare il selettore a seconda del tipo di al-

toparlanti collegati.

! Se è collegato un subwoofer:

Selezionare ON. Questa impostazione

elimina le frequenze di gamma superiore

e trasmette frequenze di gamma inferio-

re.

! Se sono collegati altoparlanti a gamma

completa:

Selezionare OFF. OFF trasmette l’intera

gamma di frequenza.

2 Comando FREQ (frequenza di taglio)

È possibile selezionare la frequenza di taglio

da 40 Hz a 500 Hz quando l’intertuttore di

selezione LPF è attivato.

3 Interruttore BASS BOOST (controllo del

livello di incremento dei bassi)

È possibile selezionare un livello di incre-

mento dei bassi tra 0 dB, 6 dB e 12 dB.

4 Comando GAIN (guadagno)

Se il suono in uscita rimane basso anche

quando si aumenta il volume del car stereo,

portare i comandi su un livello inferiore. Se

quando si aumenta il volume del car stereo

il suono risulta distorto, portare i comandi

su un livello superiore.

! In caso di uso in combinazione con un

car stereo dotato di presa di tipo RCA

(uscita standard di 500 mV), portare i co-

mandi sulla posizione NORMAL. In caso

di uso in combinazione con un car stereo

Pioneer dotato di presa di tipo RCA con

uscita massima di 4 V, o più, regolare il li-

vello in modo che si adegui al livello di

uscita del car stereo.

! Se l’utilizzo del terminale d’ingresso

degli altoparlanti genera una grande

quantità di rumore, portare il comando

del guadagno ad un livello maggiore.

5 Indicatore di accensione

L’indicatore di accensione si illumina per in-

dicare che l’alimentazione è collegata.

Impostazione corretta del

guadagno

! È inclusa una funzione di protezione per

impedire malfunzionamenti dell’unità e/o

degli altoparlanti dovuti a livelli di uscita ec-

cessivi, o a uso o collegamenti non corretti.

! Se l’audio viene emesso a volume eccessi-

vo, e in altre condizioni di questo tipo, que-

sta funzione interrompe l’uscita per alcuni

secondi. L’uscita dell’audio riprende quan-

do il volume sull’unità principale viene ri-

dotto.

! Se l’uscita dell’audio viene interrotta, i co-

mandi del guadagno potrebbero essere

stati regolati in modo non corretto. Per as-

sicurare che l’audio venga emesso costan-

temente anche se il volume dell’unità

principale è alto, regolare il comando del

guadagno dell’amplificatore su un livello

adatto al livello massimo di uscita pream-

plificato dell’unità principale, in modo che

il volume non subisca variazioni e che si li-

mitino le emissioni audio eccessive.

! Anche se il volume e il guadagno sono re-

golati correttamente, l’audio dell’unità po-

trebbe venire periodicamente interrotto. In

questi casi, contattare la stazione assisten-

za Pioneer più vicina.

Collegare il terminale maschio di questo cavo

al terminale del telecomando del sistema car

tenna automatica. Se il car stereo non è

dotato di terminale per il telecomando del si-

stema, collegare il terminale maschio al termi-

nale di alimentazione tramite l’interruttore

della chiave di avviamento.

Prima di collegare

l’amplificatore

AVVERTENZA

! Assicurare i cavi con morsetti per cavi o na-

stro adesivo. Per proteggere il cablaggio, av-

volgere il nastro adesivo intorno al cablaggio

nei punti in cui esso si trova a contatto con

parti metalliche.

! Non tagliare mai l’isolante della sorgente di

alimentazione per collegare l’alimentazione

ad altri apparecchi. La capacità di carico di

corrente del cavo è limitata.

ATTENZIONE

! Non cortocircuitare mai i cavi, altrimenti il cir-

cuito di protezione potrebbe non funzionare

correttamente.

! Non mettere mai a terra direttamente i cavi

degli altoparlanti o riunire in fascio i cavi con-

duttori negativi (*) di più altoparlanti.

Collegamento delle unità

! Se il cavo del telecomando di sistema dell’am-

plificatore viene collegato al terminale di ali-

mentazione tramite l’interruttore della chiave

di avviamento (12 V CC), l’amplificatore rimar-

rà sempre acceso quando l’interruttore della

chiave di avviamento è attivato, indipendente-

mente da se il car stereo è acceso o spento.

Pertanto la batteria potrebbe scaricarsi se il

motore del veicolo rimane a lungo al minimo

o con la marcia in folle.

a parte, il cavo di messa a terra e i cavi degli

altoparlanti e dell’amplificatore quanto più

lontano possibile dall’antenna, dal cavo del-

l’antenna e dal sintonizzatore.

Informazioni sulla modalità

di collegamento a ponte

L’impedenza massima degli altoparlanti è di 4 W,

eseguire i collegamenti con attenzione. Collega-

menti all’amplificatore non corretti potrebbero

provocare malfunzionamenti o lesioni personali

provocate da surriscaldamento.

Per la modalità di collegamento a ponte con am-

plificatore a due canali, con carico di 4 W, collega-

re due altoparlanti da 8 W in parallelo, sinistro +

e destro * (diagramma A) o utilizzare un unico

altoparlante da 4 W. Per gli amplificatori di altro

tipo, osservare il diagramma di collegamento a

ponte sulla parte posteriore dell’unità: due alto-

parlanti da 8 W in parallelo per un amplificatore

con carico da 4 W o un unico altoparlante da 4 W

per canale.

Assicurarsi che gli altoparlanti siano conformi

ai seguenti standard, altrimenti sussisterà il ri-

reo, oppure tra 4 W e8W per i collegamenti

Collegamento del

terminale di alimentazione

Si consiglia di utilizzare un cavo batteria rosso

speciale e un cavo di messa a terra RD-223,

venduti a parte. Collegare il cavo batteria diret-

tamente al terminale positivo della batteria +

e il cavo di messa a terra alla scocca del veico-

lo.

AVVERTENZA

Se il cavo della batteria non viene saldamente fis-

sato al terminale utilizzando le apposite viti, sus-

sisterà il rischio di surriscaldamento,

malfunzionamento e lesioni personali, come

ustioni lievi.

1 Instradare il cavo batteria dal vano mo-

tore all’interno del veicolo.

Dopo aver eseguito tutti gli altri collegamenti

all’amplificatore, collegare il terminale del

cavo batteria al terminale positivo (+) della

batteria.

Prima di installare

l’amplificatore

AVVERTENZA

! Per assicurare un’installazione corretta, utiliz-

zare i componenti forniti nel modo indicato.

Se vengono utilizzati componenti diversi da

quelli forniti, le parti interne dell’amplificatore

potrebbero subire danni, o allentarsi, provo-

cando lo spegnimento dell’amplificatore.

! Non eseguire l’installazione in:

— Posizioni in cui l’unità potrebbe ferire il

conducente o i passeggeri se il veicolo

frena improvvisamente.

— Posizioni che potrebbero interferire con la

guida, come il pianale di fronte al sedile

del conducente.

! Installare le viti autofilettanti in modo tale che

le estremità delle viti non entrino a contatto

con alcun cavo. Questa precauzione è impor-

tante per impedire che i cavi vengano tagliati

dalla vibrazione del veicolo, con conseguente

pericolo di incendio.

! Accertarsi che i cavi non si impiglino nel mec-

canismo di scorrimento dei sedili o che venga-

no a contatto con le gambe delle persone

all’interno del veicolo in quanto potrebbero

provocare cortocircuiti.

! Quando si praticano fori per installare l’ampli-

ficatore, verificare sempre che dietro il pannel-

lo non si trovi alcun componente. Proteggere

tutti i cavi e gli organi importanti (ad esempio,

linee del carburante o dei freni, cavi).

ATTENZIONE

! Per assicurare la corretta dissipazione del ca-

lore dall’amplificatore, osservare quanto

segue durante l’installazione:

— Riservare uno spazio adeguato per la cor-

retta ventilazione al di sopra dell’amplifica-

tore.

— Non coprire l’amplificatore con tappetini di

alcun tipo.

! Se l’amplificatore viene installato in ambienti

con una insufficiente dissipazione del calore,

se viene usato continuamente ad alto volume,

ecc., la funzione Protezione potrebbe attivarsi

per evitare rischi di surriscaldamento.

! Evitare di instradare i cavi lungo aree calde,

ad esempio, in prossimità delle bocchette di

riscaldamento. Il calore potrebbe danneggiare

le guaine isolanti, provocando, a contatto

della scocca, cortocircuiti.

! La posizione di installazione ottimale varia a

seconda del modello del veicolo. Fissare l’am-

plificatore in una posizione sufficientemente

rigida.

! Inizialmente, eseguire collegamenti tempora-

nei per verificare che l’amplificatore e il siste-

ma funzionino correttamente.

! Dopo aver installato l’amplificatore, verificare

che la ruota di scorta, il martinetto e gli attrez-

zi siano agevolmente accessibili.

1 Posizionare l’amplificatore nella posi-

zione di installazione desiderata.

Inserire le viti autofilettanti fornite (4 mm × 18

mm) negli appositi fori con un cacciavite in

modo che lascino una traccia nella posizione

in cui dovranno essere praticati i fori.

2 Praticare fori del diametro di 2,5 mm

sulle tracce lasciate dalle viti sulla tappez-

zeria o direttamente sul telaio.

Antes de conectar/instalar

el amplificador

ADVERTENCIA

! Se recomienda el uso del cable de batería rojo

especial y el de toma a tierra RD-223, disponi-

bles por separado. Conecte el cable de la bate-

ría directamente al terminal positivo + yel

cable de toma a tierra a la carrocería del auto-

móvil.

! Esta unidad es para vehículos con una batería

de 12 V y conexión a tierra negativa. Antes de

instalarla en una caravana, un camión o un

autobús, compruebe el voltaje de la batería.

! Utilice siempre un fusible de la corriente no-

minal indicada. El uso de un fusible inadecua-

do podría provocar sobrecalentamiento y

humo, daños personales y materiales, lesio-

nes e incluso quemaduras.

Antes de comenzar

! Compruebe las conexiones de la fuente de ali-

mentación y los altavoces si se funde el fusi-

ble del cable de la batería vendido por

separado o el fusible del amplificador. Deter-

mine y solucione el problema y después reem-

place el fusible por otro de características

idénticas.

! No permita que esta unidad entre en contacto

con líquidos, ya que puede producir una des-

carga eléctrica. Además, el contacto con líqui-

dos puede causar daños en la unidad, humo y

recalentamiento.

Las superficies del amplificador y cualquier al-

tavoz acoplado pueden calentarse y ocasionar

quemaduras.

! Ante cualquier anomalía, la fuente de alimen-

tación del amplificador se desconecta para

evitar averías en el equipo. Si esto ocurre,

DESCONECTE el sistema y compruebe las co-

nexiones de la fuente de alimentación y del al-

tavoz. Si no consigue determinar el problema,

contacte con su distribuidor.

! Desconecte siempre primero el terminal nega-

tivo * de la batería para evitar riesgos de des-

carga eléctrica o un cortocircuito durante la

instalación.

PRECAUCIÓN

! Mantenga siempre el volumen lo suficiente-

mente bajo como para poder escuchar los so-

nidos que provienen del exterior.

! El uso prolongado del estéreo del vehículo

mientras el motor permanece inactivo o en

marcha al ralentí puede agotar la batería.

Acerca de la función de protección

La función de protección funcionará en las condi-

ciones que se indican a continuación. Si se activa

la función de protección, se desactivará el indica-

dor de encendido y el amplificador se apagará.

! Si se encuentran cortocircuitados el terminal

de salida del altavoz y el cable del altavoz.

! Si sube demasiado la temperatura del interior

del amplificador.

! Si se aplica un voltaje CC al terminal de salida

del altavoz.

Para ajustar el interruptor, si es preciso utilice

un destornillador de cabeza plana.

1 Interruptor del LPF (filtro de paso bajo)

Cambia los ajustes según el altavoz conec-

tado.

! Cuando el altavoz de subgraves esté co-

nectado:

Seleccione ON. Esta opción elimina las

frecuencias altas y reproduce las bajas.

! Cuando el altavoz de toda la gama esté

conectado:

Seleccionar OFF. OFF genera toda la

gama de frecuencias.

2 Control FREQ (frecuencia de corte)

La frecuencia de corte que se puede selec-

cionar es de 40 Hz a 500 Hz si el conmu-

tador de selección LPF está activado.

3 Interruptor del BASS BOOST (control de

nivel de intensificación de graves)

Se puede seleccionar el nivel de intensifica-

ción de graves entre 0 dB, 6 dB y 12 dB.

4 Control de GAIN (ganancia)

Si la salida sigue siendo baja, incluso al

subir el volumen del estéreo del vehículo,

posicione los controles en un nivel más

bajo. Si se escucha cierta distorsión al subir

el volumen del vehículo, posicione estos

controles en un nivel superior.

! Para el uso con un estéreo de vehículo

provisto de RCA (salida estándar de 500

mV), posiciónese en NORMAL. Para el

uso con un estéreo de vehículo Pioneer

provisto de RCA, con una salida máxima

de 4 V o superior, ajuste el nivel para que

coincida con la salida de estéreo del ve-

hículo.

! Si se oye ruido excesivo cuando se usan

los terminales de entrada de altavoz, gire

el control de ganancia a un nivel supe-

rior.

5 Indicador de encendido

El indicador de encendido se ilumina para

indicar que está activado (ON).

Configuración correcta de

la ganancia

! Función de protección incluida para evitar

posibles fallos en la unidad y/o altavoces

debido a una salida excesiva, al uso indebi-

do o a una conexión inadecuada.

! Al reproducir sonidos demasiado altos,

etc., esta función interrumpe la reproduc-

ción durante unos segundos como una

función normal, y retoma la reproducción

cuando se baja el volumen de la unidad

principal.

! Una interrupción en la salida del sonido

puede indicar un ajuste incorrecto del con-

trol de ganancia. Para garantizar una repro-

ducción continua cuando el volumen de la

unidad es alto, configure el control de ga-

nancia del amplificador en un nivel ade-

cuado para el nivel de salida máxima del

preamplificador (pre-out), de manera que

el volumen permanezca sin cambios y le

permita controlar la salida excesiva.

! Una vez corregido el volumen y los ajustes

de ganancia, el sonido de la unidad aún se

interrumpe cada cierto tiempo. De presen-

tarse esta situación, contacte con el servi-

cio técnico oficial Pioneer más cercano a

su domicilio.

Conecte el terminal macho de este cable al

terminal del control a distancia del sistema en

el estéreo del vehículo. El terminal hembra se

puede conectar al terminal del control de relé

de la antena del automóvil. Si el estéreo del

vehículo no dispone de un terminal para el

control a distancia del sistema, conecte el ter-

minal macho al terminal de potencia a través

de la llave de encendido.

Antes de conectar el

amplificador

ADVERTENCIA

! Asegure el cableado con pinzas para cables o

cinta adhesiva. Para proteger el cableado, en-

vuelva con cinta adhesiva las partes que estén

en contacto con piezas metálicas.

! Nunca corte el aislamiento de la fuente de ali-

mentación para suministrar energía otros

equipos. La capacidad de corriente del cable

es limitada.

PRECAUCIÓN

! Nunca acorte ningún cable, ya que el circuito

de protección podría no funcionar correcta-

mente.

! Nunca ponga directamente a tierra el cable

del altavoz ni junte varios cables conductores

negativos (*).

! Si el cable de control a distancia del sistema

del amplificador está conectado a un terminal

de potencia a través de la llave de encendido

(12 V de CC), el amplificador permanecerá ac-

tivo tanto si el estéreo del vehículo está apaga-

do como encendido, lo que puede agotar la

batería si el motor permanece inactivo o en

marcha al ralentí.

! Instale y pase el cable de la batería (adquirido

por separado) lo más lejos posible de los ca-

bles del altavoz.

Instale y pase el cable de la batería (adquirido

por separado), junto con el cable de puesta a

tierra, los cables del altavoz y el amplificador

lo más lejos posible de la antena, del cable de

la antena y del sintonizador.

Acerca del modo en puente

La impedancia máxima del altavoz es de 4 W; por

favor, compruébelo detenidamente. La conexión

incorrecta al amplificador puede resultar en un

funcionamiento defectuoso o causar lesiones de-

bido a quemaduras por sobrecalentamiento.

El modo en puente en un amplificador de dos ca-

nales, con una carga de 4 W, permite disponer de

dos altavoces de 8 W en paralelo, izquierdo + y

derecho * (diagrama A) o utilizar un único alta-

voz de 4 W. En el caso de otros amplificadores,

siga el diagrama de conexión de salida del alta-

voz para la unión en puente que se indica: dos al-

tavoces de 8 W en paralelo para una carga de 4 W

o un único altavoz de 4 W por canal.

Para cualquier otra consulta, contacte con el dis-

tribuidor oficial de Pioneer o diríjase al servicio

de atención al cliente.

Acerca de una especificación

adecuada del altavoz

Asegúrese de que los altavoces cumplen con

los siguientes estándares; en caso contrario,

existe cierto riesgo de incendio, humo y otros

daños. La impedancia del altavoz es de 2 W a8

W en la conexión de estéreo, o de 4 W a8W en

la conexión monoaural y en otra conexión de

puente.

Antes de instalar el

amplificador

ADVERTENCIA

! Para garantizar una instalación correcta, utili-

ce las piezas facilitadas del modo indicado. El

uso de otras piezas diferentes a las facilitadas,

puede dañar las partes internas del amplifica-

dor o aflojarse haciendo que éste se apague.

! No instalar en:

— Lugares donde pueda lesionar al conduc-

tor o a los pasajeros en caso de detener el

vehículo de repente.

— Lugares donde pueda interferir con la con-

ducción, como es la zona situada delante

del asiento del conductor.

! Coloque tornillos de rosca cortante de tal ma-

nera que el extremo del tornillo no toque nin-

gún cable. Esto es muy importante para evitar

que los cables terminen cortándose por la vi-

bración del vehículo, lo que podría ocasionar

un incendio.

! Asegúrese de que los cables no quedan atra-

pados en el mecanismo de deslizamiento de

los asientos o toquen las piernas de los pasa-

jeros en un vehículo; lo que podría producir

un cortocircuito.

! Cuando realice un agujero para instalar el am-

plificador, asegúrese siempre de que no haya

ninguna pieza detrás del panel y proteja todos

los cables y equipos importantes (p. ej. líneas

de freno/combustible, cableado eléctrico)

para evitar daños.

PRECAUCIÓN

! Para garantizar una disipación térmica ade-

cuada del amplificador, asegúrese de lo si-

guiente durante la instalación:

— Deje suficiente espacio sobre el amplifica-

dor para que la ventilación sea adecuada.

— No cubra el amplificador con una alfombra

o moqueta.

! La función de protección puede activarse para

proteger al amplificador de un sobrecalenta-

miento por estar instalado en un lugar donde

el calor no puede disiparse bien, por utilizarlo

continuamente con un volumen alto, etc. De

presentarse esta situación, el amplificador se

apaga hasta lograr enfriarse a una cierta tem-

peratura designada.

! Evite que los cables pasen a través de zonas

calientes, como las salidas del calentador. El

calor puede dañar el aislamiento, ocasionan-

do un cortocircuito en el vehículo.

! El lugar idóneo para la instalación difiere

según el modelo del vehículo. Fije el amplifi-

cador a un lugar lo suficientemente rígido.

! En primer lugar, realice conexiones tempora-

les y compruebe que el amplificador y el siste-

ma funcionan correctamente.

! Después de instalar el amplificador, confirme

que la rueda de repuesto, las tomas y demás

herramientas pueden retirarse fácilmente.

1 Coloque el amplificador en el lugar de

instalación deseado.

Inserte los tornillos de rosca cortante facilita-

dos (4 x 18 mm) en los orificios correspondien-

tes y apriételos con un destornillador de

Vor dem Anschluss bzw. der

Installation des Verstärkers

WARNUNG

! Die Verwendung einer roten Spezialbatterie

und eines Erdungskabels RD-223 (als Sonder-

zubehör erhältlich) wird empfohlen. Verbinden

Sie das Batteriekabel direkt mit dem positiven

Pol + der Autobatterie und das Erdungskabel

mit der Fahrzeugkarosserie.

! Dieses Gerät wurde für den Einsatz in Fahr-

zeugen mit 12-V-Batterie und negativer Erdung

konzipiert. Vor der Installation des Geräts in

einem Personenkraftwagen, Lkw oder Bus

muss die Batteriespannung überprüft werden.

! Verwenden Sie stets eine Sicherung, die den

vorgegebenen Leistungsmerkmalen ent-

spricht. Die Verwendung einer ungeeigneten

Sicherung kann zu Überhitzung und Rauch-

bildung führen und eine Beschädigung des

Produkts sowie Körperverletzung, u. a. Ver-

brennungen, zur Folge haben.

Bevor Sie beginnen

! Prüfen Sie die Anschlüsse der Spannungsver-

sorgung und der Lautsprecher, wenn die Si-

cherung der separat erhältlichen Batterie oder

des Verstärkers durchbrennen sollte. Identifi-

zieren und beheben Sie die Ursache des Pro-

blems und tauschen Sie dann die Sicherung

durch eine identische bzw. gleichwertige aus.

! Dieses Gerät darf nicht mit Flüssigkeiten in

Kontakt kommen. Dies könnte einen Strom-

schlag verursachen. Der Kontakt mit Flüssig-

keiten kann darüber hinaus eine

Beschädigung dieses Geräts, Rauchbildung

und Überhitzung zur Folge haben.

Zudem könnte sich die Oberfläche des Ver-

stärkers und der angeschlossenen Lautspre-

cher erhitzen und dadurch leichte

Verbrennungen verursachen.

! Bei Auftreten einer Funktionsstörung wird die

Spannungsversorgung des Verstärkers unter-

brochen, um eine Beeinträchtigung des Gerä-

tebetriebs zu verhindern. Schalten Sie in

diesem Fall das System aus und überprüfen

Sie die Anschlüsse der Spannungsversorgung

und der Lautsprecher. Wenden Sie sich an

Ihren Händler, falls Sie die Fehlerursache

nicht identifizieren können.

! Trennen Sie stets zuerst die Verbindung des

negativen Pols * der Batterie ab, um jede Ge-

fahr eines Stromschlags oder Kurzschlusses

während der Installation zu vermeiden.

VORSICHT

! Wählen Sie stets eine Lautstärke, bei der Sie

Umgebungsgeräusche noch deutlich wahr-

nehmen können.

! Die längere Verwendung der Kfz-Stereoanlage

bei ausgeschaltetem oder im Leerlauf befindli-

chen Motor kann zur Entleerung der Fahr-

zeugbatterie führen.

Zur Schutzfunktion

Die Schutzfunktion aktiviert sich unter den nach-

folgend beschriebenen Bedingungen. Wenn sich

die Schutzfunktion einschaltet, erlischt die Be-

triebsanzeige und der Verstärker schaltet sich

aus.

! Wenn sich die Lautsprecherausgangsklemme

und das Lautsprecherkabel kurzschließen.

! Wenn die Temperatur im Inneren des Verstär-

kers zu hoch ist.

! Wenn an die Lautsprecherausgangsklemme

eine Gleichspannung angelegt wird.

Für die Einstellung des Schalters ist ggf. ein

Flachkopfschraubendreher zu verwenden.

1 LPF-Schalter (Tiefpassfilter)

Schalten Sie die Einstellungen je nach an-

geschlossenem Lautsprecher um.

! Wenn ein Subwoofer angeschlossen ist:

Wählen Sie ON. Dadurch wird die Hoch-

tonausgabe verhindert und es werden

nur Basstöne ausgegeben.

! Wenn ein Vollbereichslautsprecher ange-

schlossen ist:

Wählen Sie OFF. Mit OFF werden alle

Töne des gesamten Tonfrequenzbereichs

ausgegeben.

2 FREQ-Regler (Trennfrequenz)

Als Trennfrequenz kann ein Wert von 40 Hz

bis 500 Hz gewählt werden, wenn der Tief-

passfilter-Auswahlschalter auf ON gesetzt

wurde.

3 BASS BOOST-Schalter (Steuerung des

Bassverstärkungspegels)

Sie können einen der verfügbaren Bassver-

stärkungspegel wählen: 0 dB, 6 dB oder 12

dB.

4 GAIN-Regler (Verstärkung)

Wenn der Ausgabepegel auch nach dem Er-

höhen der Lautstärke der Kfz-Stereoanlage

niedrig bleibt, stellen Sie die Regler auf

einen niedrigeren Pegel ein. Falls beim Er-

höhen der Lautstärke der Kfz-Stereoanlage

Klangverzerrungen auftreten, stellen Sie die

Regler auf einen höheren Pegel ein.

! Bei einer Kfz-Stereoanlage mit Cinch-An-

schluss (Standardausgabe 500mV) ist

die Position NORMAL zu wählen. Wenn

Sie eine Kfz-Stereoanlage von Pioneer

mit Cinch-Anschluss und einer max.

Ausgangsspannung von 4V oder mehr

verwenden, passen Sie den Pegel an den

Kfz-Stereoausgangspegel an.

! Wenn bei der Verwendung der Lautspre-

chereingänge zu viele Störgeräusche zu

vernehmen sind, erhöhen Sie die Verstär-

kungssteuerung.

5 Betriebsanzeige

Die Betriebsanzeige leuchtet bei einge-

schalteter Stromzufuhr.

Bedarfsgerechtes

Einstellen der Verstärkung

! Die integrierte Schutzfunktion verhindert

eine Betriebsstörung des Geräts und/oder

der Lautsprecher aufgrund eines zu hohen

Ausgabepegels, einer unsachgemäßen Ver-

wendung oder nicht ordnungsgemäßer An-

schlüsse.

! Bei der Ausgabe eines zu hohen Lautstär-

kepegels unterbricht die Funktion die Aus-

gabe für ein paar Sekunden. Das ist

vollkommen normal. Die Ausgabe wird fort-

gesetzt, sobald der Lautstärkepegel des

Hauptgeräts reduziert wird.

! Eine Unterbrechung der Tonausgabe kann

auf eine ungeeignete Einstellung der Ver-

stärkungsregler hinweisen. Zur Gewährlei-

stung einer kontinuierlichen Tonausgabe

bei hohem Lautstärkepegel des Hauptge-

räts stellen Sie die Verstärkungsreglung

des Verstärkers auf einen geeigneten Pegel

für den maximalen Preout-Ausgabepegel

des Hauptgeräts ein, sodass die Lautstärke

beibehalten werden und ein zu hoher Aus-

gabepegel kontrolliert werden kann.

Einstellen des geräts

! Trotz richtiger Lautstärke- und Verstär-

kungseinstellungen kommt es regelmäßig

zu Unterbrechungen der Tonausgabe des

Geräts. In diesem Fall sollten Sie sich an

eine autorisierte Pioneer-Kundendienststel-

le in Ihrer Nähe wenden.

Verstärkungsreglung für dieses Gerät

Die obige Abbildung zeigt die Verstärkungs-

einstellung NORMAL.

Beziehung zwischen der Verstärkung

durch den Verstärker und der

Das unsachgemäße Erhöhen der Verstärkung

durch den Verstärker resultiert einfach in

mehr Verzerrungen bei geringer Leistungsstei-

gerung.

Signalwellenform bei der Ausgabe mit

hohem Lautstärkepegel unter

Verwendung der Verstärkungsreglung

des Verstärkers

Die Signalwellenform wird bei hohem Ausga-

bepegel verzerrt. Wenn Sie die Verstärkung

durch den Verstärker erhöhen, wird nur eine

geringfügige Leistungsänderung erzielt.

Verbinden Sie den Klemmenstecker dieses

Kabels mit der Klemme der Systemfernbedie-

nung der Kfz-Stereoanlage. Die Klemmen-

buchse kann mit der

Automatikantennenrelais-Steuerklemme ver-

bunden werden. Wenn die Kfz-Stereoanlage

über keine Systemfernbedienungsklemme ver-

fügt, verbinden Sie den Klemmenstecker über

die Zündung mit der Stromklemme.

Vor dem Anschluss des

WARNUNG

! Sichern Sie die Kabel mit Kabelklemmen oder

Klebeband. Zum Schutz der Kabel sollten Sie

Kabelabschnitte, die mit Metallteilen in Be-

rührung kommen, mit Klebeband umwickeln.

! Durchtrennen Sie niemals die Isolierung der

Spannungsversorgung, um ein anderes Gerät

mit Strom zu versorgen. Das Kabel hat eine

begrenzte Stromkapazität.

VORSICHT

! Kürzen Sie die Kabel nicht, da dies eine Funk-

tionsstörung der Schutzschaltung zur Folge

haben kann.

! Erden Sie das Lautsprecherkabel nie direkt

und legen Sie nie die negativen (*) Litzen

mehrerer Lautsprecher zusammen.

Anschließen der Geräte

! Wenn das Systemfernbedienungskabel des

Verstärkers über die Zündung (12 V Gleich-

spannung) mit der Stromklemme verbunden

wird, bleibt der Verstärker unabhängig davon,

ob die Kfz-Stereoanlage ein- oder ausgeschal-

tet ist, mit der Zündung eingeschaltet. Dies

kann bei ausgeschaltetem oder im Leerlauf

befindlichen Motor zu einer Entleerung der

Fahrzeugbatterie führen.

! Installieren und verlegen Sie das separat er-

hältliche Batteriekabel möglichst weit von den

Lautsprecherkabeln entfernt.

Installieren und verlegen Sie das separat er-

hältliche Batteriekabel, das Erdungskabel, die

Lautsprecherkabel und den Verstärker mög-

lichst weit von der Antenne, vom Antennenka-

bel und vom Tuner entfernt.

Zum Überbrückungsmodus

Die Lautsprecherimpedanz beträgt max. 4 W. Bitte

sorgfältig überprüfen. Ein nicht ordnungsgemä-

ßer Anschluss an den Verstärker kann eine Be-

triebsstörung oder Körperverletzungen aufgrund

einer Verbrennung wegen Überhitzung zur Folge

haben.

Für den Überbrückungsmodus mit einem Zweika-

nal-Verstärker mit 4-W-Last sind entweder zwei 8-

W-Lautsprecher parallel zu schalten, links + und

rechts * (Schema A), oder es ist ein einzelner 4-

W-Lautsprecher zu verwenden. Für andere Ver-

stärker halten Sie sich an das an der Rückseite

dargestellte Anschlussschema zum Überbrücken

der Lautsprecherausgänge: Zwei 8-W-Lautspre-

cher in Parallelschaltung für 4-W-Last oder ein

einzelner 4-W-Lautsprecher pro Kanal.

Wenden Sie sich bei weiteren Fragen an Ihren ört-

lichen Pioneer-Händler oder den

Kundendienst.

cherspezifikation

Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Lautsprecher den

folgenden Standards entsprechen. Andern-

falls ist Brand-, Rauchentwicklungs- und Be-

schädigungsgefahr gegeben. Die

Lautsprecherimpedanz beträgt 2W bis 8W für

Stereoanschlüsse bzw. 4 W bis 8 W für Mono-

und andere Brückenanschlüsse.

WARNUNG

Wenn das Batteriekabel nicht sicher mit Hilfe der

Klemmenschrauben an der Klemme befestigt

wird, besteht die Gefahr von Überhitzung, Be-

triebsstörungen und Verletzungen, u.a. von leich-

ten Verbrennungen.

1 Führen Sie das Batteriekabel vom Mo-

torraum in das Fahrzeuginnere.

Wenn Sie alle anderen Verstärkeranschlüsse

vorgenommen haben, schließen Sie die Batte-

riekabelklemme des Verstärkers am positiven

Pol (+) der Batterie an.

Vor der Installation des

Verstärkers

WARNUNG

! Verwenden Sie die mitgelieferten Teile gemäß

den Anweisungen, um eine ordnungsgemäße

Installation zu gewährleisten. Wenn andere

als die im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Teile ver-

wendet werden, könnten interne Bestandteile

des Verstärkers beschädigt oder gelockert

werden und den Verstärker abschalten.

! Nehmen Sie keine Installation an folgenden

Stellen vor:

— Stellen, an denen der Fahrer oder andere

Fahrzeuginsassen bei einem plötzlichen

Halt des Fahrzeugs verletzt werden könn-

ten.

— Stellen, an denen das Gerät den Fahrer be-

hindern könnte, z.B. auf dem Boden vor

dem Fahrersitz.

! Bringen Sie Blechschrauben so an, dass die

Schraubenspitze nicht mit Kabeln in Berüh-

rung kommt. Dies ist wichtig, um das Durch-

trennen von Kabeln durch Vibrationen des

Fahrzeugs zu verhindern, da dies in einem

Brand resultieren könnte.

! Stellen Sie sicher, dass Kabel nicht in den

Gleitmechanismus der Sitze geraten oder die

Beine einer sich im Fahrz eug befindlichen

Person berühren, da anderenfalls die Gefahr

eines Kurzschlusses besteht.

! Beim Bohren zur Installation des Verstärkers

ist stets sicherzustellen, dass keine Teile hin-

ter dem Blech liegen und alle Kabel und wich-

tigen Fahrzeugteile (z.B. Benzin-/

Bremsleitung, Verkabelung) vor einer Beschä-

digung geschützt sind.

VORSICHT

! Um eine ordnungsgemäße Wärmeableitung

für den Verstärker zu gewährleisten, ist bei der

Installation auf Folgendes zu achten:

— Sorgen Sie für ausreichend Freiraum über

dem Verstärker, um eine ordnungsgemäße

Lüftung zu gewährleisten.

— Decken Sie den Verstärker nicht mit einer

Bodenmatte oder einem Teppich ab.

! Die Schutzfunktion aktiviert sich möglicher-

weise, um den Verstärker vor Überhitzung zu

schützen, welche aufgrund einer Installation

an Orten mit unzureichender Wärmeabfuhr

oder bei fortwährender Verwendung mit

einem hohen Pegel etc. auftreten kann. In die-

sem Fall schaltet sich der Verstärker aus und

bleibt so lange ausgeschaltet, bis er auf eine

festgelegte Temperatur abgekühlt ist.

! Verlegen Sie Kabel nicht in heißen Bereichen

wie zum Beispiel in der Nähe von Heizöffnun-

gen. Hitze kann die Isolierung beschädigen

und dadurch einen Kurzschluss über die Ka-

rosserie verursachen.

! Der beste Installationsort ist vom jeweiligen

Fahrzeugmodell abhängig. Bringen Sie den

Verstärker sicher an einer ausreichend steifen

Stelle an.

! Nehmen Sie zunächst nur temporäre An-

schlüsse vor und prüfen Sie diese, um den

ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb des Verstärkers

und des Systems zu gewährleisten.

! Nach der Installation des Verstärkers ist si-

cherzustellen, dass Ersatzrad, Wagenheber

und Werkzeuge problemlos entnommen wer-

den können.

1 Platzieren Sie den Verstärker am ge-

wünschten Installationsort.

Stecken Sie die mitgelieferten Blechschrau-

ben (4 × 18mm) in die Schraubenlöcher und

drücken Sie mit einem Schraubendreher auf

sie, um die Position der Montagelöcher zu

markieren.

2 Bohren Sie an den markierten Stellen

Löcher mit einem Durchmesser von 2,5 mm

entweder durch den Teppich oder direkt

durch die Karosserie.

Vóór u de versterker

aansluit of installeert

WAARSCHUWING

! Aanbevolen wordt gebruik te maken van de

speciale rode accu- en aardkabels RD-223 die

afzonderlijk verkrijgbaar zijn. Sluit de accuka-

bel rechtstreeks op de positieve (+) pool van

de accu van het voertuig aan, en de aardkabel

op de carrosserie.

! Dit toestel is bedoeld voor voertuigen met een

accu van 12 volt en negatieve aarding. Voordat

u het toestel in een camper, recreatievoertuig,

vrachtwagen of bus installeert, moet u het vol-

tage van de accu controleren.

! Gebruik alleen zekeringen van de aangegeven

waarde. Het gebruik van ongeschikte zekerin-

gen kan oververhitting, rookontwikkeling,

schade aan het product en lichamelijk letsel

zoals brandwonden veroorzaken.

! Indien de zekering van de los verkrijgbare ac-

cudraad of de versterker smelt, moet u de aan-

sluiting van de voeding en de luidsprekers

controleren. Verhelp eerst de oorzaak van het

probleem en vervang de zekering vervolgens

door een gelijkwaardige zekering.

Hoofdstuk

Vóór u begint

! Zorg ervoor dat het toestel niet met vloeistof in

aanraking komt. Dat kan een elektrische

schok of rookvorming, oververhitting en scha-

de aan het toestel veroorzaken.

De behuizing van de versterker en erop aange-

sloten luidsprekers kan ook heet worden en

lichte brandwonden veroorzaken.

! Bij een storing wordt de stroomvoorziening

van de versterker afgebroken om verdere scha-

de te voorkomen. In dit geval schakelt u het

systeem uit (OFF) en controleert u de stroom-

voorziening en luidsprekeraansluitingen. Als u

de oorzaak van het probleem niet zelf kunt be-

palen, neemt u contact op met uw leverancier.

! Koppel steeds eerst de negatieve * pool van

de accu los om een elektrische schok of kort-

sluiting tijdens de installatie te voorkomen.

LET OP

! Zet het volume nooit zo hoog dat u geluiden

buiten het voertuig niet meer kunt horen.

! Gebruik van het audiosysteem met stilgelegde

of stationaire motor kan de accu uitputten.

Informatie over de beveiligingsfunctie

De beveiligingsfunctie treedt in de volgende situ-

aties in werking. Als de beveiligingsfunctie in

werking treedt, gaan het voedingslampje en de

versterker uit.

! Als er kortsluiting optreedt bij de luidspreker-

uitgang en de luidsprekerkabels.

! Als de temperatuur in de versterker te hoog

oploopt.

! Als er gelijkspanning wordt gezet op de luid-

sprekeruitgang.

Gebruik indien nodig een platte schroeven-

draaier om een schakelaar te verzetten.

1 LPF-schakelaar (low pass filter)

Selecteer de gewenste filter voor de aange-

sloten luidspreker.

! Indien een subwoofer is aangesloten:

Selecteer ON. Deze filter houdt de hoge

frequenties tegen en laat de lage tonen

door.

! Indien een luidspreker met vol bereik is

aangesloten:

Selecteer OFF. Met OFF wordt het volledi-

ge frequentiebereik weergegeven.

2 FREQ-regelknop (drempelfrequentie)

Als de schakelaar voor het laagdoorlaatfilter

is ingeschakeld (ON), kunt u de drempelfre-

quentie instellen tussen 40 Hz en 500 Hz.

3 BASS BOOST-schakelaar (bedienings-

schakelaar voor het bass boost-niveau)

U kunt het bass boost-niveau instellen op 0

dB, 6 dB en 12 dB.

4 GAIN-regelknop (versterkingsfactor)

Als het geluidsniveau laag blijft hoewel u de

autoradio luider zet, zet u de regelknoppen

lager. Als het geluid vervormd wordt wan-

neer de autoradio luider wordt gezet, zet u

de regelknoppen hoger.

! Voor gebruik met een autoradiosysteem

met RCA (standaarduitgang 500 mV)

stelt u de knoppen af op NORMAL. Voor

gebruik met Pioneer-autoradiosystemen

met RCA en een maximale uitgangs-

spanning van 4 V of hoger, stemt u het ni-

veau af op de uitgangswaarde van de

autoradio.

! Als er te veel ruis klinkt wanneer de luid-

sprekeringangen gebruikt worden, draait

u de gain-regelknop hoger.

5 Voedingslampje

Het voedingslampje brandt wanneer de voe-

ding is ingeschakeld (ON).

De versterkingsfactor

(gain) instellen

! Een correcte instelling van de versterkings-

factor beschermt het toestel en/of de luid-

sprekers tegen schade door een te hoog

uitgangsniveau, onjuist gebruik of een ver-

keerde aansluiting.

! Als het geluidsniveau enz. te hoog wordt,

sluit deze functie het uitgangssignaal enke-

le seconden af. Het signaal wordt pas weer

doorgelaten wanneer het volume op het

hoofdtoestel daalt.

! Onderbrekingen in de geluidsweergave

kunnen erop duiden dat de versterkingsfac-

tor niet juist is afgesteld. Om geluidsonder-

brekingen bij een hoog volume van het

hoofdtoestel te vermijden, moet u de ver-

sterkingsfactor bij de versterker afstemmen

op het maximale preout-uitgangsniveau

van het hoofdtoestel, zodat het volume on-

gewijzigd blijft en een te sterk uitgangssig-

naal wordt voorkomen.

! Het kan gebeuren dat het geluid toch wordt

afgebroken als de versterkingsfactor en het

volume correct zijn ingesteld. Neem in dat

geval contact op met het dichtstbijzijnde er-

kende servicecentrum van Pioneer.

Een onjuiste verhoging van de gain van de ver-

sterker resulteert slechts in meer vervorming

en weinig vermogenstoename.

Golfvormig signaal bij hoog

uitgangsvolume met gain-regeling

voor versterker

De golfvorm wordt vervormd bij een hoog uit-

gangsniveau. Het vermogen neemt nauwelijks

toe door de gain van de versterker te

verhogen.

7 RCA-ingang

8 Kabel systeemafstandsbediening (apart ver-

krijgbaar)

Verbind het mannelijke aansluitpunt van deze

kabel met het aansluitpunt voor de systeemaf-

standsbediening van de autoradio. Het vrou-

welijke aansluitpunt kan worden verbonden

met de bedieningsaansluiting van de automa-

tische antenne. Indien de autoradio niet is

voorzien van een aansluiting voor de systeem-

afstandsbediening, verbindt u het mannelijke

aansluitpunt via de contactschakelaar met de

voedingsaansluiting.

9 Luidsprekeraansluiting

Raadpleeg het volgende gedeelte voor meer

informatie over het aansluiten van de luidspre-

Vóór u de versterker aansluit

WAARSCHUWING

! Gebruik kabelklemmen of plakband om de be-

kabeling op een veilige manier aan te bren-

gen. Wikkel kabels die tegen metalen

onderdelen liggen ter bescherming in tape.

! Snijd in geen geval de isolatie van de voe-

dingskabel open om andere apparatuur van

stroom te voorzien. De stroomcapaciteit van

de voedingskabel is beperkt.

LET OP

! U mag kabels nooit inkorten omdat daardoor

storing kan optreden in het beveiligingscir-

cuit.

! Luidsprekerkabels mogen niet rechtstreeks

worden geaard. Negatieve (*) fasedraden van

verschillende luidsprekers mogen niet samen

worden gebundeld.

De toestellen aansluiten

! Als de systeemafstandsbedieningskabel van

de versterker met de voeding is verbonden via

de contactschakelaar (12 V gelijkstroom), blijft

de versterker ingeschakeld zolang het contact

aan staat (ongeacht of de autoradio is in- of

uitgeschakeld). Hierdoor kan de accu worden

uitgeput wanneer de motor stationair draait.

! Installeer de apart verkrijgbare accukabel zo

ver mogelijk van de luidsprekerkabels.

Installeer de apart verkrijgbare accukabel,

aardkabel, luidsprekerkabels en de versterker

zelf zo ver mogelijk van de antenne, antenne-

kabel en tuner.

Informatie over de

brugschakeling

De luidsprekerimpedantie is maximaal 4 W; con-

troleer dit zorgvuldig. Een foutieve aansluiting op

de versterker kan storingen of lichamelijk letsel

(brandwonden door oververhitting) veroorzaken.

Voor een brugschakeling voor een 2-kanaalsver-

sterker met een belasting van 4 W sluit u ofwel

twee luidsprekers van 8 W parallel aan, met links

+ en rechts * (zie schema A), ofwel gebruikt u

één 4 W-luidspreker. Voor andere versterkers volgt

u het volgende aansluitschema voor brugschake-

lingen: twee luidsprekers van 8 W parallel gescha-

keld voor een belasting van 4 W of één luidspreker

van 4 W per kanaal.

Luidsprekerspecificaties

De luidsprekers die u gebruikt moeten aan de

volgende vereisten voldoen; anders bestaat er

een risico op rookontwikkeling, brand of an-

dere schade. De luidsprekerimpedantie be-

draagt 2 W tot 8 W voor een stereoaansluiting,

of 4 W tot 8 W voor een monoaansluiting of an-

dere brugschakeling.

Aan te sluiten op de luidsprekeringangen van

dit toestel.

De voedingsaansluiting

verbinden

Aanbevolen wordt gebruik te maken van de

speciale rode accu- en aardkabels RD-223 die

afzonderlijk verkrijgbaar zijn. Sluit de accuka-

bel rechtstreeks op de positieve (+) pool van

de accu van het voertuig aan, en de aardkabel

op de carrosserie.

WAARSCHUWING

Indien de accukabel niet goed (met de aansluit-

schroeven) wordt aangesloten, bestaat er een risi-

co op oververhitting, storingen en lichamelijk

letsel zoals lichte brandwonden.

1 Trek de accukabel vanuit het motor-

compartiment door naar het voertuiginte-

rieur.

Pas nadat u alle andere aansluitingen op de

versterker hebt voltooid, verbindt u het aan-

sluitpunt op de versterker met de positieve (+)

accupool.

De luidsprekeraansluitingen

1 Strip met een draadkniptang of ge-

schikt mes het uiteinde van de luidspreker-

kabel. Leg ongeveer 10mm kabel bloot en

vervlecht het uiteinde.

Vóór u de versterker

installeert

WAARSCHUWING

! Voor een correcte installatie moet u de gele-

verde onderdelen op de aangegeven wijze ge-

bruiken. Andere onderdelen dan de geleverde

kunnen het binnenwerk van de versterker be-

schadigen of los raken en de versterker alle

dienst doen weigeren.

! Installeer het toestel niet:

— op een plaats waar de bestuurder of passa-

giers erdoor verwond kunnen raken wan-

neer het voertuig plotseling moet worden

afgeremd.

— op plaatsen waar het de bestuurder kan

hinderen, bijvoorbeeld op de vloer bij de

bestuurdersplaats.

! Plaats schroeven zo dat de punt van de

schroef geen kabels raakt. Dit is belangrijk

omdat de kabel anders door voertuigtrillingen

door de schroef kan worden ingesneden, wat

brand kan veroorzaken.

! Let erop dat de kabels niet vast kunnen

komen te zitten in de stoelrails en niet in aan-

raking kunnen komen met een lichaamsdeel

van de inzittenden van het voertuig. Dit kan

kortsluiting veroorzaken.

! Let er bij het boren op dat zich aan de achter-

kant van het paneel geen onderdelen bevin-

den. Scherm alle kabels en vitale onderdelen

(bijvoorbeeld brandstof- en remleidingen, an-

dere bekabeling) eerst zorgvuldig af.

LET OP

! Let tijdens de installatie op de volgende pun-

ten om te zorgen dat de versterker goed

warmte kan afgeven:

— Laat voldoende ventilatieruimte vrij boven

de versterker.

— Leg geen mat of ander materiaal over de

versterker.

! De beveiligingsfunctie kan in werking treden

om de versterker te beschermen tegen over-

verhitting wanneer het toestel door zijn opstel-

ling of zware belasting enz. te warm wordt. In

zulke gevallen wordt versterker automatisch

uitgeschakeld tot deze voldoende afgekoeld is.

! Trek de kabels niet door zones die warm wor-

den, bijvoorbeeld langs een verwarmingsroos-

ter. Door de warmte kan de isolatie worden

beschadigd, wat kan leiden tot kortsluiting

naar de carrosserie.

! De optimale installatieplek verschilt van voer-

tuig tot voertuig. Plaats de versterker op een

plek die voldoende sterk en stijf is.

! Maak eerst tijdelijke verbindingen en contro-

leer of de versterker en het audiosysteem goed

functioneren.

! Controleer, nadat u de versterker hebt geïn-

stalleerd, of het reservewiel en het bijbeho-

rende gereedschap nog ongehinderd

bereikbaar zijn.

Voorbeeld van een installatie

op de vloermat of het chassis

1 Plaats de versterker op de gewenste in-

stallatieplaats.

Plaats de meegeleverde zelftappende schroe-

ven (4 mm × 18 mm) in de schroefgaten en

duw erop met een schroevendraaier zodat de

punt een afdruk laat op de plaats waar de

boorgaten moeten komen.

2 Boor op deze plaatsen een gat met een

diameter van 2,5 mm door de vloerbekle-

ding of rechtstreeks in het chassis.

установкой усилителя

ПРЕДУПРЕЖДЕНИЕ

! Рекомендуется использовать специальный

красный провод для подключения к акку-

мулятору и провод заземления RD-223

(приобретаются отдельно). Подключите

провод, предназначенный для подключе-

ния к аккумулятору, к положительной клем-

ме + аккумулятора автомобиля, а провод

заземления – к корпусу автомобиля.

! Данное устройство предназначено для

транспортных средств с 12-вольтовым ак-

кумулятором и заземлением отрицатель-

ного полюса. Перед установкой данного

устройства в жилом автофургоне, грузови-

ке или автобусе проверьте напряжение ак-

кумулятора.

! Использование только предохранители

указанного номинала. Использование

предохранителя с другими характеристи-

ками может стать причиной перегрева, за-

дымления, повреждения устройства, а

также травм, включая ожоги.

! Если перегорел предохранитель приобре-

тенного отдельно провода для подключе-

ния к аккумулятору или предохранитель

усилителя, проверьте правильность под-

ключения проводов и громкоговорителей.

Выявите и устраните причину, а затем за-

мените предохранитель на новый с иден-

тичными номинальными параметрами.

! Не допускайте попадания жидкости на

данное устройство. Это может повлечь по-

ражение электрическим током. Кроме того,

попадание жидкости в устройство может

стать причиной его выхода из строя, пере-

грева и появления дыма.

Наружные поверхности усилителя и под-

ключенных громкоговорителей также

могут нагреваться и при прикосновении к

ним вызывать небольшие ожоги.

! При возникновении каких-либо отклонений

от нормального режима работы необходи-

мо отключить питание усилителя, чтобы

избежать возникновения серьезных неис-

правностей. В таких случаях следует уста-

новить переключатель питания системы в

положение OFF (ВЫКЛ) и проверить сое-

динения проводов подачи питания и гром-

коговорителей. Если Вам не удалось

выявить причину самостоятельно, обрат-

итесь к своему дилеру.

! Перед установкой всегда отключайте отри-

цательную * клемму аккумулятора во из-

бежание поражения электрическим током

или короткого замыкания.

ВНИМАНИЕ

! Всегда сохраняйте уровень громкости до-

статочно низким, чтобы были слышны

звуки извне.

! Работа усилителя на повышенной мощно-

сти в режиме стерео при выключенном

или работающем на холостом ходу двига-

теле может привести к разрядке аккумуля-

тора.

Функция защиты

Функция защиты работает при указанных

Для регулировки переключателя исполь-

зуйте отвертку с плоским жалом.

1 Регулятор LPF (фильтр низких ча-

стот)

Переключите настройки в соответствии с

характеристиками подключенного гром-

коговорителя.

! При подключении сабвуфера:

Выберите ON. При этом отсекаются

высокие частоты и воспроизводятся

низкие частоты.

! При подключении широкополосного

громкоговорителя:

Установите переключатель в положе-

ние OFF. При установке переключате-

ля в положение OFF воспроизводится

весь диапазон частот.

2 Регулятор FREQ (частота среза)

Доступен диапазон частот среза от 40 Гц

до 500 Гц, если переключатель выбора

LPF установлен в положение Вкл.

3 Регулятор BASS BOOST (уровень уси-

ления низких частот)

С помощью регулятора можно выбрать

один из следующих уровней низких ча-

стот:0дБ,6дБ и 12 дБ.

4 Регулятор GAIN (уровня усиления)

Если выходная мощность остается низ-

кой, даже когда регулятор громкости

звука находится в максимальном поло-

жении, установите регуляторы мощности

на более низкий уровень. Если при уста-

новке регулятора громкости в макси-

мальное положение появляются

искажения, установите регуляторы мощ-

ности на более высокий уровень.

! При использовании автомобильной

аудиосистемы, оснащенной RCA

(стандартная выходная мощность 500

мВ), установите регулятор в положе-

ние NORMAL. При использовании ав-

томобильной аудиосистемы Pioneer,

оснащенной RCA, с выходной мощно-

стью 4 В и более установите уровень

мощности усилителя так, чтобы он со-

ответствовал уровню выходной мощ-

ности автомобильной аудиосистемы.

! Если при использовании входных раз-

ъемов для подключения громкогово-

рителей слышны шумы, увеличьте

уровень усиления.

5 Индикатор питания

При включении питания загорается инди-

катор питания.

Установка коэффициента

усиления

! В устройстве предусмотрена функция

защиты от установки слишком высокой

мощности, неверного использования

или неверного подключения, способных

привести к выходу усилителя из строя.

! При установке слишком высокого уров-

ня громкости и т. п. данная функция на

несколько секунд отключает звук (это не

является неисправностью) и вновь

включает его при снижении уровня

громкости на главном устройстве.

! Отключение звука может означать, что

установлен неверный коэффициент

усиления. Чтобы звук не отключался

при установке максимального уровня

громкости на основном устройстве, ко-

эффициент усиления усилителя должен

соответствовать максимальному уров-

ню выходной мощности основного ус-

тройства. В этом случае уровень

громкости не будет изменяться, а коэф-

фициент усиления не будет превышать

допустимого значения.

! Уровень громкости и коэффициент уси-

ления установлены правильно, но звук

все равно периодически отключается. В

этом случае обратитесь в ближайший

авторизованный сервисный центр

Pioneer.

ПРЕДУПРЕЖДЕНИЕ

! Закрепите провода при помощи зажимов

или изоляционной ленты. Для защиты про-

водки заизолируйте провода в местах их

соприкосновения с металлическими дета-

лями.

! Не нарушайте изоляцию проводов питания

для подачи питания на другое оборудова-

ние. Провода имеют ограниченную допу-

стимую нагрузку по току.

ВНИМАНИЕ

! Запрещается укорачивать провода, цепь

защиты может выйти из строя.

! Не подключайте провод громкоговорителя

непосредственно к заземлению и не свя-

зывайте вместе несколько отрицательных

(*) выводов проводов громкоговорителей.

! Если провод системы дистанционного

управления усилителем подключен к клем-

ме питания через замок зажигания (12 В

пост. тока), то усилитель будет находиться

в включенном состоянии при включенном

зажигании вне зависимости от того, вклю-

чена автомобильная аудиосистема или

нет; это может привести к разрядке аккуму-

лятора, если двигатель выключен или ра-

ботает на холостых оборотах.

! Проложите и закрепите приобретаемый от-

дельно провод для подключения к аккуму-

лятору как можно дальше от проводов

громкоговорителей.

Проложите и закрепите приобретаемый от-

дельно провод для подключения к аккуму-

лятору, провод заземления, провода

громкоговорителей и усилителя как можно

дальше от антенны, кабеля антенны и

тюнера.

Режим мостового соединения

Максимальное сопротивление громкоговори-

теля не должно превышать 4 W. Убедитесь,

что данное условие выполнено. Неверное

подключение усилителя может привести к его

повреждению или к травмам в виде ожогов,

вызванных перегревом.

Мостовое соединение двухканального усили-

теля с нагрузкой 4 W представляет собой па-

раллельное подключение двух

громкоговорителей с сопротивлением 8 W ка-

ждый, левого + и правого * (Схема A), либо

одного громкоговорителя с сопротивлением 4

W. Для других усилителей см. схему мостово-

го подключения громкоговорителей на задней

панели: два громкоговорителя с сопротивле-

нием 8 W, подключенных параллельно, для

нагрузки 4 W, либо один громкоговоритель с

сопротивлением 4 W на каждый канал.

При возникновении вопросов обращайтесь к

местному авторизованному дилеру Pioneer

или в пункт сервисного обслуживания.

Рекомендуется использовать специальный

1 Проложите провод, предназначен-

ный для подключения к аккумулятору,

из отсека двигателя в салон автомоби-

ля.

После подключения всех проводов усили-

теля последним подключите провод, иду-

щий от клеммы усилителя к

положительной (+) клемме аккумулятора.

Перед установкой усилителя

ПРЕДУПРЕЖДЕНИЕ

! Для обеспечения надлежащей установки

используйте только детали, входящие в

комплект поставки, в соответствии с ин-

струкциями. Использование деталей, от-

личных от указанных, может стать

причиной повреждения внутренних компо-

нентов усилителя или выключения усили-

теля при ослаблении крепления этих

деталей.

! Не устанавливайте усилитель:

— В местах, где водитель или пассажир

может получить травму при экстренном

торможении автомобиля.

— В местах, где он может мешать водите-

лю во время движения, например, на

полу перед сидением водителя.

! Самонарезающие винты необходимо уста-

навливать так, чтобы не касались прово-

дов. Эти меры предосторожности позволят

избежать обрыва проводов под воздей-

ствием вибрации, вызванной движением

автомобиля, которые могут привести к воз-

горанию.

! Убедитесь, что провода не будут застре-

вать в движущемся механизме сидений и

касаться ног пассажира, поскольку это

может привести к короткому замыканию.

! При сверлении отверстий для установки

усилителя убедитесь, что за панелью не

находятся какие-либо детали, и обеспечь-

те защиту от повреждений всех проводов и

ВНИМАНИЕ

! Для обеспечения надлежащей теплоотда-

чи усилителя при его установке необходи-

мо обеспечить следующее:

— Наличие достаточного свободного про-

странства над усилителем для обеспе-

чения надлежащей вентиляции.

— Не закрывать усилитель напольным по-

крытием или ковриком.

! Функция защиты может включаться для за-

щиты усилителя от перегрева в результате

установки в местах, где рассеяние тепла

затруднено, длительной эксплуатации с

высоким уровнем звука и по иным подоб-

ным причинам. В таких случаях усилитель

выключается и не включается, до тех пор

пока не остынет до определенной темпе-

ратуры.

! Не допускать прокладки проводов в местах

с повышенной температурой, например,

вблизи решетки обогревателя. Под воздей-

ствием высокой температуры может нару-

шиться изоляция проводов, что, в свою

очередь, может вызвать короткое замыка-

ние на корпус автомобиля.

! Оптимальное место установки усилителя

зависит от конкретной модели автомобиля.

Закрепите усилитель на достаточно жест-

кой поверхности.

! Прежде всего временно подсоедините все

провода и проверьте, что усилитель и си-

стема работают надлежащим образом.

! После установки усилителя убедитесь, что

запасное колесо, домкрат и инструменты

извлекаются без помех.

Пример установки

усилителя на напольном

коврике или шасси

1 Поместите усилитель в место, где

его предстоит установить.

Вставьте входящие в комплект поставки

самонарезающие винты (4 мм ×18мм) в

отверстия для винтов и нажмите на винты

отверткой так, чтобы на монтажной поверх-

ности остались метки для сверления от-

верстий.

2 По отметкам просверлите отверстия

диаметром 2,5 мм в коврике или непос-

редственно в шасси.
