To copy memory card data
1. With no disc or memory card loaded:
Hold the CUE/LOOP MEMORY button pressed for 5 sec-
onds or more.
The display will scroll the [COPY MODE] [CARD A IN] messages.
2. Insert the original source memory card into the memory
card slot.
The display will show the [READING] message; after several min-
utes, the [CARD B IN] message will appear.
3. Remove the source card and insert the target memory
card.
Be sure to delete earlier contents of the target card to provide
sufficient recording capacity.
The display will show the [WRITING] message, and after several
minutes, the [CARD A IN] message will appear.
4. Remove the target card, and once more insert the origi-
nal source card.
The display will show the [READING] message; after several min-
utes, the [CARD B IN] message will appear.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 as required.
The copying process is completed when the display shows the
[COMPLETE] message.
Copying of a full 32MB SD memory card will require a maximum
of 4 cycles of recording steps 3 to 4.
If the target card has insufficient memory capacity to complete the
copying process, the [CAPACITY ERROR] message will appear.
If you possess a computer with memory card reader/writer, the reader/
writer can be used to copy your SD memory cards. (MultiMedia Cards
formatted on the CDJ-1000 or CDJ-1000MK2 cannot be copied using
a computer.)

4. Retirez la carte de destination et insérez à nouveau la carte
de source originale.
Laffichage indique le message [READING] (lecture en cours); après
plusieurs minutes, le message [CARD B IN] apparaît.
5. Répétez les étapes 3 et 4 selon les besoins.
La copie est achevée lorsque le message [COMPLETE] apparaît
sur laffichage.
La copie de toute une carte mémoire de SD 32 Mo nécessitera au
plus 4 cycles des étapes denregistrement 3 et 4.
Si la capacité de la mémoire est insuffisante sur la carte de desti-
nation, le message [CAPACITY ERROR] apparaît.
Si vous possédez un ordinateur pourvu dun lecteur/graveur de carte
mémoire, ce lecteur/graveur peut servir pour copier vos cartes mémoire
SD. (Il nest pas possible de copier en utilisant un ordinateur des cartes
MultiMedia formatées sur le CDJ-1000 ou le CDJ-1000MK2.) P. 34 en

Signification
Le point de repère ou le point de boucle a
été correctement mémorisé sur la carte
mémoire.
Apparaît pendant la lecture MP3 quand une
carte formatée sur le CDJ-1000 ou le CDJ-
1000MK2 a été insérée et que les opérations
enregistrées sont exécutées. Les données du
point ne sont pas enregistrées sur la carte.
Lespace restant sur la carte mémoire est
insuffisant. Les données de point ne sont pas
enregistrées sur la carte.
La fonction LOCK (protection contre
écriture) de la carte mémoire est activée et il
nest pas possible denregistrer les données
du point sur cette carte.
Une carte mémoire nest pas installée.
Une carte mémoire est installée, mais le
volet de la carte nest pas refermé. Fermez
le volet et essayez à nouveau.
La carte mémoire installée nest pas
conforme aux normes des cartes SD ou aux
normes de formatage du CDJ-1000 ou CDJ-
1000MK2 (MMC). Les données de point ne
sont pas enregistrées sur la carte.
La carte mémoire installée semble
endommagée.
Le nombre total des points de repère et des
points de boucle enregistrés a atteint 100.
Insérez la carte mémoire pour lenregistrement de données de point de
repère, de données de point de boucle, de données de repère instantané
ou de données WAVE. Si une carte mémoire nest pas insérée, les
données des points seront perdues si lalimentation électrique est coupée
ou si le disque actuel est retiré.

fully stored in the memory card.
Displayed during MP3 playback when a
card formatted on the CDJ-1000 or CDJ-

operations are performed. Point data
cannot be recorded to the card.
Insufficient space remains on the memory
card. Point data is not recorded to the card.
The memory cards LOCK (wrote protect)
function is enabled, and point data cannot
be written to the card.
No memory card is loaded.
A memory card is loaded, but the memory
card door has not been closed. Close the
door and retry.
The loaded memory card does not
conform to SD memory card standards, or
to CDJ-1000, CDJ-1000MK2 (MMC)
formatting standards. Point data cannot
be recorded to the card.
The loaded memory card appears to be
damaged.
The total number of recorded cue points
and loop points has reached 100.
